Great video and I will actually be staying here this coming November for my birthday! Would you happen to remember the additional cost for the Cloud 9 restaurant?
You don’t *have* to tip anyone since it’s all-inclusive, but we experienced great service throughout the resort, so we still did. US dollars are just as useable as pesos, so there’s no need to exchange currency. Just make sure you bring lots of fives and singles - I ran out towards the end of our trip and the front desk couldn’t even break a twenty because everyone comes looking for change.
My wife and I are staying here this summer and it will be our first trip to Mexico. Do you have to schedule reservations at these included restaurants or do you just walk in at any time?
Hi there, if my memory serves me correctly, reservations are required. This can be done through your butler, at the front desk, or from the iPad in your room :)

It truly is an amazing all inclusive hotel/resort, that was my second time staying there and I was just as pleased and impressed as I was the first time. Maybe next time I will have to try somewhere new and check out the Haven Riviera Cancun! Thanks for the recommendation :)

Hi there, great video! Thanks for taking the time. Could you possibly tell me what time the building starts to block shade on the non-diamond club beach? I saw one video that said 4:30 pm but they weren't clear if it was both pools and all of the beach or just certain sections.
Hi there! After reviewing my photos and videos from the trip, it appears that the diamond club section becomes shaded BEFORE the non-diamond club area at around 4:00pm so you can expect shortly after that for the remaining areas to become shaded as well. If my memory is serving me correctly, I do remember bringing a chair out further towards the ocean to soak in those last rays of sunshine. It also makes for a great time to do a beach walk and chase that sunshine or to enjoy other amenities at the resort. Wishing you a fabulous vacation full of all the sunshine you can get!
For the rooftop pool. There is a pink party or neon etc… how do we get the schedule before our stay so we can bring appropriate attire. Another question- what service did you use to get from the airport to the hotel and back?
@@Michelle3721 That is a great question! If you let me know your dates I can try to contact the hotel for you. I did not find much information on their site but my approach would be to contact the hotel directly. We used Cancun Limo Service for our transportation, however, when you land there is a plethora of taxi and shuttle services waiting. For the return trip back to the airport, this can be arranged through the hotel for your comfort at any time during your stay before check-out or you can ask them to call for a taxi whenever it is needed, whether that be to go back to the airport, to an excursion, or just to head into town! @@Michelle3721 Hi there, after speaking with the Royalton directly, I have learned that the daily entertainment schedule is only posted 1 day in advance and is subject to change depending on weather. The good news is, there is sure to be some form of entertainment daily so pack all your favourite outfits! If you are a diamond club member you will be sent the daily itinerary each day by your butler or all guests can find this information on the in-room iPads. Sorry I am not able to provide the exact information you are looking for. Wishing you safe travels and a fabulous vacation!
