I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (October 29, Reformation Sunday), this was our New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) of the Day. It has been 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Church in Wittenberg, Germany. HERE I STAND! I CAN DO NO OTHER!

Bear in mind that when this took place, Jesus had risen from the dead and had ascended back into Heaven. But he will come again one day. BE READY! CHRIST IS RISEN! ALLELUIA! HE IS RISEN, INDEED!

Bear in mind that when Paul wrote this, Jesus had risen from the dead and had ascended back into Heaven.
