"Check your dictionary whenever you're in doubt" I could be wrong or your teacher could be wrong but the dictionary will not be. However I'm sure that it's the short u in the dictionary. First I'm sorry for the late response. I just saw this now. The answer is D. Sometimes, there are mistakes in the past questions answers. This is why I advice every student to have a mentor they can always ask questions like this. From the question and the options, the only logical question to the statement is D.
