This is my basic generic RU-vid channel where I chronicle my travels, plant care and some cooking. For plants, I grow Cymbidium and Phalaenopsis orchids, avocado plants, aloe vera plants, jade plants, and the rohdea japonica (or Sacred Japanese Lily) plant. I am not an expert on any of these topics, just chronicling my journey into these topics.
Don't Ever Under Estimate their Attire. Greek Soldiers are Hardy Soldiers who Presented a Formidable Fight against the Germans during WW2. During the Korean War, Greek Soldiers were Well Respected by the Enemy for their Marksmanship!!! Don't Play Play. They are Lethal and Deadly.
Great detailed video. I have been successful with sprouting my seeds in paper towels. Many of them begin to root within 2 weeks. Also, I had a pit that split in two and experimented by growing them both separately. Both have grown as their own plant in water and both are taller than my other plants. Thanks for sharing all your process, and good luck with your avocado journey. I love mine!
I've had the jade that is planted by the side of the house for over 25 years. I performed virtually no maintenance on them until now. I will start to trim and prune them now that they have sparked my interest in them.
Thanks! I believe the flowers fell off due to the extreme change in temperature of their environment (although the change didn't seem that extreme to me) , not to the cold. In fact, I think I should have just left it outdoors and not bring it inside, since it never dropped below freezing. They should be able to withstand 1 or 2 nights of 30 degree nighttime temperatures.
Nice! Love this park! My favorite route is starting on the east, walking up past the golf course on Vermont, and then all the way west to the sign, Wisdom Tree, down to reservoir and then some delicious pho at It's Pho on N Cahuenga 😄 there's a video on my channel!

My friends and I did this in the 70's. We loved going up there, and smoking weed. Back then the sign was dirty, and falling apart. There was always ever changing graffiti on the back. Anyone remember when the sign was changed to say, Hollyweed? Yep. Van Nuys Blvd for Wednesday night etc. It was such a wonderful dive back then.
At 1:47 you see an illegal fence put up by the residents to try to stop you from walking to the Hollywood Sign, the sign that says no pedestrians is fake too. This is one of the ways to do this but I wouldn't recommend it because of the fence, it's a bit dangerous, watch for cars if you attempt it. At 5:27 that location is called "Last House on Mulholland", one of the best views of the Hollywood Sign. At 7:26 is the Deronda Drive location for a nice side view of the Hollywood Sign.
Easiest route - Route is: Lake Hollywood Park, park on canyon ( 3160 N. Canyon Lake Drive in GPS) Walk up Mullholland drive Right on Durand Left on Heather Left on Ledgewood Sharp right on Rockcliff Left on Duronda 3390 Duronda drive is the cement wall, just pull the gate open. It's not private property. The sign that says no pedestrians is a fake! Residents here put up fake signs as if they own this. FUCK THEM!
Very interesting mine had that growth of molds too eventually they rooted and some survived. The humidity inside indoor is about 30 - 40 % keep up the good work.
Hello! I notice a parking sign-on DeRonda Dr and Rockcliff Drive that says no parking Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday. Does that mean we can work on weekdays?
Hi ... I saw another video on the lg freezer handle (not the same LG fridge) and the video says it is a Torx 15. This video shows just an ordinary Allen Wrench / hex wrench (size?). I don't know which one it is as I can't seem to find the right bit for it... or it is stripped (one side came off). I can't look underneath as it is tough to be doing something upside down... and not close enough. What is the tool to loosen the set screws?
I would give it 2 hours to allow for rests along the way, and to stop for photos. If you take a straight line up without stops, you can probably do it in 90 minutes or less. But check out my new video which cuts out around 15 - 30 minutes from the total hike by taking a more direct route to the entrance of the park (the white gates): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d79JIEkcjHQ.html
There are many ways to the Hollywood sign but if you really want a good hike start from the bottom from 3200 Canyon Drive . That is a really good hike the point is to exercise.
that route in beginning is actually the very long way. if you stick to mulholland hwy and not make the right on durand, it takes you straight there. you also get some other really nice shots of the sign on the way
Maybe each is from a different variant of avocado. Some observations: #3: some leaves actually look diseased (much like wrinkles or leaf curls maybe due to over-watering and also little galls/swelling) even if they're "glassy/glossy". #4: shiny leaf near bottom also looks a little wrinkled
Thank you so much 💕 mine is looking Brown at the top like that 😍 I thought something was wrong with it and I wanted to throw it away but I didn't PS you're speaking loud enough, maybe they just need to turn the volume or get a better phone
