This song is so beautiful and to this day still makes me so sad. Though I was born in the US, through the stories my grandparents and parents have told me, both those stories and this song make me mourn for my grandparents and my parents, knowing they miss the simpler days. I mourn for us Hmong people, especially with our long history of persecution and running.
I wasn’t born there, but I can’t imagine the pain, the longing, the feeling they miss so much being so free to live without all these electronics and hate in America. I miss the freedom of of being a kid in the projects, but this song make me sad for them as if I lived there.
Whoever dislike this song is not a human being. God bless pastor txawj pes and his family. Thanks for making this sad beautiful lovely song. The first verse brought tears to my eyes and penetrated through my heart deeply.
@@Hmong1able I wouldn't say it like that as well. The original song by wang feng is rock song describes his life before he's famous and wish he could to be there again. It's a good song indeed. XF.txawjpes simply make a cover just any cover out there and it's good cover with his own spin in very and touching lyrics. No need to fight over this.
