"Not just for solo players" omfg a dream true! THIS is something I badly want in XIV because sometimes it's nice to just relax through some dungeon runs with someone and not having to worry about some tryhards.
@@ThePrefessional this is exactly why i like the Trust system in XIV. even though the community is very nice there, it's a good feeling to not feel like a hinderance in dungeon content

@wowpedia_ mythic raiding is a whole new beast. There is normally one or two new mechanics introduced and the damage done is drastically increased. For you personally, make sure you really understand the fight mechanics and don't make avoidable mistakes. But even if you play perfectly Mythic requires your other raid members to be on top of their game. Communication is necessary.
It wasn't intended to be black flag because if it was everyone would get mad at the "black flag rip off." I hear that comment all the time and it confuses me. We as a gaming community hate when game developers rip off game titles by taking a whole previous title re-skin it and call it 70$ worthy. Yet when they make new games intended to be a stand alone game title we criticize them for not being the game that already had its day. Skull and bones also has pvp, so the meta would be a nightmare in pvp for land and sea. Lika all season driven ubisoft games or any developers game with a pvp option with a farming aspect to them it would be the age old story "If if you weren't here for the event with the broken thing (musket and sword: example) you die until something comes out later to break the meta and so on." If your looking for a relaxing pirate game with some competitiveness and a healthy mix of grinding; skull and bones checks all boxes. The scenery is beautiful they brought old raids back and every season has a new sea monster with new furniture and cosmetics. I genuinely enjoy it and have a clan of nearly 18 people who agree. I will say its not perfect but I was say for ubisoft who seems to sabotage their game titles all the time I genuinely can't say that so far with skull and bones. They have listened to the community and haven't done anything (yet) to upset us as a community. They also have a free trial that carries over to the main game so you can decide if navil combat is for you. It may not be black flag but as a stand alone title its fun for those willing to try it out and give it the respect black flag was given. Because again pvp assassins creed on land combat would suck. The GRIND WOULD SUCK.
It was originally a sequel or adaptation of black flag, that's why the game even exists. However, giving it a fair shake, it's still a bad game, especially for a "AAAA" game. BTW I wouldn't call this a pirate gane adventure game like it's advertised either. It's a ship combat game with a pirate theme. The resource farming is a joke. The plundering snd boarding of ships is a joke, it's the exact same cutscenes on repeat. Ships have a stamina bar? The land "exploration" is not exploration it's following a linear path. These are just right off the top of my head from what I remember. I did give the game a fair chance and reviewed it. If you're having fun with it then by all means I'm glad for you. It's just not at all what it should be and even with what it is it could have been done much much better.
I played it 66h yet i enjoy it its true theres no story but i just enjoy sailing killing mobs for me i find it great the different ship is really nice to have for tactics and how and what cannon ud play depending on the ship its not for everyone for sure its ok u dislike it i enjoy it thats the important point dont let ppl tell u its bad just play it and see for urself ^^ i play alot of games that ppl are like its trash and i love them so
Switching from LFR only to Normal has been a painful learning curve for me, but your guides and cheat sheets have made them easier. Where are you at? As soon as you ever the city from the tutorial you should be prompted with a quest. Hit "L" to open your quest log. If there hit "M" to open your map and you should see a yellow " ! " with a yellow diamond or square around it. Head to that location for the main quest

Here’s a no-life thing I did last summer. I sped through genshins story And finished it in les than a week.(Venti to Nahida) I lost the 50/50 on that account and decided it was time to quit the addiction.

Gosh, I wish that after I finish genshin I could wipe my memories and play it all over again. That new player feeling is the best. Take your time, make it last. It’s incredible
I originally planned on just rushing to endgame. But after getting into it I was like....there's actual content here. And it's interesting. Such a rare thing to feel nowadays since most games focus only on the endgame. Definitely taking my time and fully getting engrossed to the story
I love seeing people agree how beautiful this game is. My favourite spot as of right now is the top room of the Faded Castle, middle level, in Petrichor, Fontaine! Excited for you to get there :)

There's such a diminishing return on graphics now that the art style and presentation are what truly matters. The art style in this game is literally amazing even for 2024. Couldn't imagine it at release!
I imagine I will have come close to beating the game by then. I'm about 15 hours in and have hardly touched all the available content. No idea how long it's going to take, maybe I'll update you whenever I reach the point of nothing left to explore!
They update the game from time to time so that people can get rewards and have some content to keep them engaged. This content can range from a mini game that'll last about 10 days to a permanent region. Sometimes they release temporary regions with a story to follow and explore, these regions last about a month and after said month you can never see the region again. Aside from that they sometimes give us little temporary quests where we meet some of the playable characters in-game and go on an adventure. My advice is take things slow, there's no need to rush, enjoy every little bit and take your time. I hope this wasn't too long.
This is so bad especially when the first thing you wanna do is explore and unlock the region. It could take a month to complete the quest cuz I get stuck on unlocking the region 😭
I haven't encountered an area that was locked yet. I went to an area where I got my ass kicked by level 40 mobs but I've been able to go anywhere I want so far.
@@zaki7583 There's a few sub maps too that you can't unlock without certain quests too, but i think thats reasonable given how much lore some of those hold that wouldn't make sense without completing those quests

The sun rising is equally as amazing!! Not too mention the glowing from the moon. I have found myself randomly stopping just to take in all the scenery!!

I definitely agree that there is a negative viewpoint towards Genshin and it's players, we've all heard the extreme stories. Kind of sad I never tried it out until now.
