In the days when a parent held their children's hands. This keeps the child close to the parent, the child understands the parent is in charge, the parent will look after them and the parent is to be respected and it stops children running willy-nilly which can be a danger to others, they can also get lost and they can cause other types of problems mainly they grow up with a slight lack of respect for other adults. I know because I was brought up like this and I can see some of the old behaviours and the good effects they had and the change now is a far more evidence of an entitlement, and evidence that many more, disrespect.
Hi Ian, we would love to include one of your videos on the next episode of the Worlds Most Beautiful Railways. You can send me a message on the below page: facebook.com/MostBeautifulRailway Thanks, Zoë
Hi Ian, I am working for a production company who are making a documentary for Channel 4. We are interested in using your footage. I don't know if RU-vid will allow my email so have typed it! (zoe dot romer at flinttv dot co dot uk)
Thank you for making this wonderful footage available. Your dad couldn’t have known that decades later people around the world could see his film! Love it.
Good film, it brings back memories. My Dad took a cine film at the same Navy Day and we also went on the trip under the Forth Road Bridge before it was completed.
Gut zum! Gutes Originalvideo sind die gleichen UFOs von Silbury Hill, ich habe gute Informationen dazu gefunden ... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7NQDxS2X4gU.html
It seems all you used to see in the Deen were church spires, now it’s a lot of high rise buildings, but it’s called progress and if there putting up high rise everywhere they need at least 1 real tall building that gets people looking,in this town something like a 25 to 30 story build somewhere central
It was filled with an admira Standard 8mm camera. Filming in those days was a tedious experience. A reel of film lasted 3 172 minutes and after 1 Minute and 30 seconds had been filmed the film had to be removed from the camera and turned around in order that the other half could be exposed. Unfortunately my dad "wasted" his films on filming places like St. Andrews cathedral whereas he should have filmed people instead.
