Neck depth and neck Length calculate back and front thankGood morning ma please I want to know how to calculate or how to know about all these shoulder width.shoulder slope.armhole depth. Neck width. Neck depth front. Neck depth back or all Neckline please thank you for your help God bless you and your family
@ifysafricanfashion1884
@ifysafricanfashion1884 2 года назад
Thank you so much my dear so sorry for the late response. Shoulder is measured from the back of our neck, there is a bone at the top of our harms that indicates where the shoulder start and end.what ever measurements you get is the shoulder measurements. When cutting you divide the outcome into two. Handpit hole You use 7.5inches to cut shoulder slopping for ladies is 1 inches and measure 4 inches before the neck place your ruler and mark. Neck length you get the actual measurements by placing your tape at the top edge of our neck down to where you desire it to stop , during cutting you use what ever measurements you get as it is without division. I don't know if I answer your questions please let me know where I need to emphasize more. Thank you for watching our channel and stay blessed.

Thank you so much for this video. Please, what type of material is that isiagu? I noticed that there are varieties of materials in the market such as silk, elastic, akwa oche and senator materials. Please does this particular one used in this video comes in 45 inches or 60 inches and how many yards or meters would sew a short sleeveless turtleneck dress for size 8 lady? TIA
@ifysafricanfashion1884
@ifysafricanfashion1884 3 года назад
Thank you for your response dear. Sorry for the delay in response. This type of isiagu I used here is the akwa-oche one and it comes by 45inches. The sleeveless turtleneck dress you are talking about is it going to be long or short for size 8 if long pencil dress you need 4yards why short will be 3yards cos use 1yard and a quota for the top.

How did you get the 7 inches you used?
@ifysafricanfashion1884

@judith9744 3 года назад
Thanks for the video.I didn't understand the part where you used 7 inches pls can you do a paper illustration of the cutting for better understanding .
@ifysafricanfashion1884
@ifysafricanfashion1884 3 года назад
Thank you very much for watching, and the suggestion is highly noted we will include it on the list of our next video. The 7inches you are asking about is for the Brest length cos is a Brest tube top. So that 7inches is the measurement of the Brest starting from the top to the bottom the measurement defer according to individual, different people has different measurement for it. Ok the paper illustration will do slot of justice to it. Am so happy for your questions is inspiring and motivating see you on our next video though it will come soon cos we have other videos that are edited waiting to be uploaded. But will definitely get back to you thank you and stay tuned.

How to wind bobbin thread
@ifysafricanfashion1884
@ifysafricanfashion1884 3 года назад
Thanks for asking is being done in two ways you can either use the spool pin on the side of the machine close to the hand wheel or you use your screwdriver, put the bobbin on the screwdriver place it in between the hand wheel and make sure the presser foot in is lifted up parmently. while you wind your bobbin. Then you start to pedal the foot controller. Make sure the thread is placed closer to the hand wheel while you wind your bobbin. Thank you
