I grew up riding motorcycles and I thought this would be a great way for my kids to work with me and get involved with motorbikes. I'm not a good mechanic, I don't have very many tools, and I'm sure that I'll make a lot of mistakes. I want to show that even with limitations you can still make a go at creating some fantastic machines.

Im not sure that I can do a different name - the hope still is, that this goes away. Not selling merchandise was their biggest complaint, so we'll see. Thanks for your support
“M.A.C.E. Bikes” maybe your wife’s initial too. Also probably periods to emphasize it’s an acronym. Maybe a “bikes & builds”. You could hide the period in the letters M A E by making them squared and C would just need it’s own period as it’s rounded anyway. Sucks it’s like this. And even if you hire a lawyer you’re immediately in the red as this doesn’t profit towards your dream bike goals.

Here are a few names as I love playing this game. - Cease and Desist Cycles - Mike Builds Bikes - Infringement Cycles - No Cafe Just Bikes (personal favorite as your promo code is awesome) I hope this situation works to your advantage and you get to have fun with it.
From my understand is if a company wants to protect their trade make, they need to go after everyone they think is infringing (even the little guy). Otherwise a legal defense is why are you picking on me but little this other guy. Its a shame, Here in the US I do not think many people know about the restaurant. You're doing great stuff. I don't think they have a leg to stand on. Similar? Sure - but the same? No way. Also, they're across the pond... I don't think they can enforce it unless it's an international trademark, or they trademarked it in the US as well... but IANAL. EDIT: A quick Google search reveals that UK-based companies CAN file for a trademark in the US. As for the name? It'll be confusing for a while but shouldn't hurt viewership. As for a name? Mike's Bikes has a certain ring to it. Just don't shorten it to MB, or Mercedes might have a cow.

But whichever direction you decide to go, you know we'll ride with you. Maybe "alter" the logo by flipping it left to right, and take on the name ECA Cafe Bikes (ECAfe Bikes??) That way you can still incorporate the kids' names. AND subtly give those Londoners the bird. And when I say bird I'm talkin bout 🦅 🇺🇸!!
Hell no! This is a scare tactic to get rid of u bro! This is total crap! Keep your original logo, you branded this logo! It’s very well known. Tell them to stick it up their backside bro. Cafe and motorcycles are two completely things! Lettering is different, logo is different, it’s not even close to their logo. Man that pisses me off! Please stay strong and keep your original logo! That's awesome! I'm glad the Flex Seal worked. If it hadn't [or in the future] I would've suggested using FlexSeal Tape. It's expensive, but I can confirm that it stays pliable, even after years in sunlight. And it's grippier than a toddler's fingers around something they shouldn't eat.
@@AceCafeBikes Dude... there's a whole story behind it, but the quick version is I ended up drowning a bunch of ground bees in both FlexSeal and bee killer, and then patching up the holes they made with a roll of FlexSeal Tape and spray. Now it's 5+ years later, and that stuff is STILL keeping those bees at bay. Also, screw ground bees. My legs didn't stop itching for WEEKS. They deserved their fate.
No kidding, I took that Keihn 4 rack up that looked mostly complete, probably off of a CB750, just to see what they wanted. 100 bucks - and it literally is junk. Come on!
