Maybe it's time we realize Government is no longer "a ministry to the people". They are not our "friend". They've become a self-serving bureaucracy whose main purpose is their own un-ending growth. Maybe it's time we prepare to stop depending on said Governments for our needs. Perhaps it's time to start realizing we need to stop funding this ever growing bureaucratic machine. Remember, Trudeau came to Abbotsford with his shirt sleeves rolled up, waving to the cameras. These disasters are photo ops.
You have been abandoned because you have a large contingent of Conservative voters in these cities. You are being punished for not have a "Woke" population. It is as simple as that.
You need more actual parks and water park especially near schools and near gladwin rd and areas in between the rec centers or well also add more rec centers as there is very little entertainment within a short walking distance, I noticed even gas stations and shopping are all centralized in specific areas not very spread out. It can be fustrating for people with mobile barriers and those who dont drive and with inflation and housing costs cant afford transit. We recently moved here and it's been pretty fustrating because while I wouldnt mind going to the pool or a playground park I cant do a 45 plus min walk. It's just not very accessible
These people removing normal Canadian houses and building these ridiculously ugly mega mansions and cutting down all the trees and not planting any new ones on the property! This city is getting worse and worse every month!
Build higher in the city centre (South fraser way). That way more supply will allow for more affordable housing. Also, create more hangout places for leisure.

How about stop building houses on the mountain, I remember Mayor George Ferguson and Randy White proudly telling the National energy board that the forests of sumas mountain were the lungs of the Fraser Valley. Abbotsford first and the Braun family have been creating a ratmaze of condos and row houses with absolutely no regard for anything environmental. Also 50,000 people ago Abbotsford tried to sell our water to Veolia water company of France and said Abbotsford would run out of water in 2016 if we didn’t identify a new source of water. Abbotsford and Chilliwhack are the asshole and vagina of BC
Downtown Abby needs highrises not condos or townhomes. This way ppl can be removed from the drug addicts while feeling safe in a neighborhood undesired by most. This creates exponential growth for young home buyers and increases the foot traffic for shops.

In the UK - the Fire service recommend to NOT have a fire extinguisher in houses of multiple occupancy...Why ? Because apparently, the average Brit is not intelligent enough to operate a fire extinguisher. Ludricous and irresponsible if you ask me.
