I'm here now! Not skiing, just hiked from Jenny lake (no boat) to lake solitude! Was alot of snow back there, nothing some crampons couldn't handle. 19 miles, 3500+ calories burned, and 42000 steps later... We literally can't move today! Haha
I like to look back once in awhile to see if something's chasing me. Great shot though. Also, never let your friends stand in the death zone unless you don't like them.
Be careful you don't accidently run into some bearded man from behind. If you do, he will suddenly be infused with all the evil powers of hell, curse you down, call you and your parents things that are physically and sexlliy impossible to happen, throw off his gloves and explain to you using profanity how he will leave your body as nothing but a bluudy pile of goresquorey.
This happened to me about 7 years ago. Too much snow so we screwed around at the bottom for an hour or two before they announced the tram was not going to run that day. Got to the line an hour before the first tram the next morning and was about 40th in line. In good position to see all the TGR people and those with private lessons skip ahead of us and get all the untracked lines in a foot of fresh. About the only thing I really hate about Jackson is that VIP line that keeps you from getting fresh lines off the tram unless you're connected.
There are people that are so stupid they would stand in a line for 6 hours just to buy a hot dog. What is it with these morons that ENJOY traffic jams and lines?
