[1] How will this apply to C2C Like ebay sales from outside EU into the EU and intra EU. [2]. What is the extended of due diligence of marketplace like amazon, they may just add a check box on their seller portal "I confirm to comply with GPSR" or seller is required to fill in a economic operator representative ?. [3] Won't this result in a lot of additional costs for companies outside the EU that wish to sell into the EU and also causethe rise of a lot of paperwork "representative"s that will just cash money as a broker but actually don't need to do anything only in case of a event ? The same as happened with RoHS which is a huge burden to small producers (A company needs broker to reduce the overload of paperwork and time to market and leave the collection of environmental data from manufacturers to a broker, which are very expensive, because most manufactures don't have a FMD or other documents ? a typical case of the EU define the "WHAT" but don't have a clue about the impact of the "HOW" specially for small companies ? [4] I believe a better solution would be that the MARKETPLACE operators are required to assign a safety representative in the EU (not the manufacturers/producers). When a consumer has a problem or concern to report that, not to the manufacturers, but the channel (the invoice) they bought the product from, which in turn should inform this to the representative and manufacturer. Why such solution was not considered ?
