Latest patch update as of yesterday (May 24th): So after reinstalling (with it OFFline after the update and putting the disk back in), the White and Redhoods aren't there anymore but the Black and White Kunoichi's are... And my red Diving Planet Suit and Circle Glasses DISSAPPEARED (from what was supposed to be the pre-order update).
So we went from a stupid ass debate about over objectifying women in video games leading to bullshit censorship, to “oh look at me I bought a physical copy” bullshit. If bullshit never started in the first place, none of this shit would matter. Just let us have the game as its supposed to be
Ok, so i just bought a used disc version, i didn't know about this game being censored and i installed the disc. It didn't mention any update or anything, but i WAS online. So that means my copy is updated and ruined? Is there any way i can revert back? Or do i need to start with a fresh disc? This seems awful confusing to play a video game.. Sony needs to uncensor this game.
all this hate because people just want more skin ! really ?? there is enough on show already. i'm sure you can find it it you really want it. Don't tell me its because you only want less censorship. lol companies own their own intellectual property so its their right to change their own stuff ! ask for refunds if it bothers you that much. btw i finished the game and outfits were fine generally.
It's the bait N switch people are more upset about. Not the amount of skin. They told people that what they were seeing is what they were going to get. No changes. Then, Day 1, changes.
You can also just uninstall the game -- if you were connected and downloaded the Woke-compliant Cancel Culture patch to begin with -- go to the options of the console and disable "Auto-Downloads" and "Auto Downloads while in Rest Mode". That will also prevent the Lunatic Leftist patch.
It wasn't censorship... *A graffiti changed for cultural reasons, *An "OceanMaid" outfit was for NG+, *2 clothes added a stripe on the front, but others didn't, if it was censorship it would be on everyone, if it was censorship the fur would be urgently banned, *One outfit was modified "Rabbit", but in my opinion for the better, combined more with the proposal of the hood and rabbit tail, than the swimsuit it was before, *The gore, she just gets less dirty, but all the blood is still there, in my opinion it was to show the character even more... And they even gave the option to improve the graphics with chromatic aberration and grain control. I can't play anymore without the update.
I heard that from launch the game had terrible input lag? I purchased the digital edition but the only main outfit I have noticed that was changed was a holiday bunny.
The annoying party is everytime i wanna watch any streaming services now and turn internet back on it auto starts the update even if i have all the auto updates turned off
Im pretty frustrating since day one. Because my friend told me the physical version just came with 1002 patch and I'm pretty confusing but I just agreed that. So I decide to insert my disc. After that switched to the TV and waiting for the install. So... Thanks to you, now I know he just misunderstanding lol. Im gonna re-install my game tonight!!
Yeah but don't u lose out on NG+ and the additional outfits they added by not updating the game?? Thats a significant amount of content u miss on by not updating..
I rather play uncensored out of principle tbh. More likely than not I wouldn't even use the censored outfit tbh.....I'm just 100% against censorship. (I'm not against people not playing something because it offends them... I'm against deciding what others can or cannot play because it offends you) it is also why I don't use english "localized" voices.
@@ricardokojin7 I can understand that for sure. But for me personally I prefer English VA over Japanese. Fortunately the games that I've played with English VA such as the persona series among a few others are pretty solid. But I don't mind the downgraded english VA for other games I can excuse it if evreything else about the game is good.
So, you have to delete the game every time you turn on the PS5? I'm having a problem with my physical copy to where I have both the auto updates and the internet off, but it's still trying to update the patch. And it's not giving me an option to play the game without updating.
@@Kitewalker I think I have an answer. The reason why it was stuck on updating was because we had the internet turned on while we had the game going. You need to keep the PS5 offline the whole time until you are ready to download the patch for NG+. If you're stuck on updating again, just delete the game & then reinstall it from the disc.
@@Samsapopinyep I'm cool as I only play single games and not ps plus and only buy physical copies of games but hope they will sort this mess out so I can play Ng+ in the future
@@warrenedwards5860 Apparently, you can actually still play NG+ Uncensored in SB. Another youtuber posted a video tutorial of how to do it & you just have to download the 1.02 patch, start NG+, save, & then delete & reinstall the game back to 1.0.

About new game + can i just start a new game + with 1.002 version (censored) then save, delete the game and reinstall without internet, come back to 1.000 (uncensored) with my physical copy then just load my save with new game + ?

@nukenin5457 to be fair, this has blown up a bit, and if the offline method for people wanting to use the disc version failed or didn't work, people would be mentioning it.
@@Spendingryan what I fear the most is that the next batch of physical games of it start coming in already patched and censored. I think ai will buy it now before its too late. I dont quite care about her boobs or ass showing but the censor to the blood... that has me so pissed.
