Was told once years ago that a PERFECT layered cut could be achieved by having client fully upside down and cutting off their hanging hair perfectly level - would LOVE to see this proved/disproved by you using one of these hair-heads 😮
Hi Paul. I love your tutorials! I have wavy/curly long hair. I’ve always asked for long layers/shag style cuts. Some of the best cuts I’ve had in the past were done on my hair first wet, then dried strait & flat ironed then cut more. I’ve done 2 self cuts (long shag) with your ponytail tutorials. Once on dry hair & once on wet hair. Both times the perimeter was not quite even. Would you suggest I blow dry & flat iron before doing pony tails for a more precise cut? Or any advice for my next self cut in a shag/wolf cut? Thank you for your channel & awesome tutorials! 👍🏼♥️🙏🏼
@@PaulWattsHair- Thank you for your reply! Do you suggest cut on dry or wet hair for me? My hair is wavy/curly and can be very frizzy if not styled properly. I plan on giving myself a shaggy / wolfy cut, with your video guidance, over the weekend.
I have done the butterfly haircut on myself 3 x in the last 30 days, only because I didn’t want to cut too much off! I even had a moment or I thought maybe I should just go get a haircut, but knowing that they charge an arm and a leg now for anything past the shoulders And I’ve had horrible hair that I’ve paid $100 and had to go back and get fixed This simple process and cutting your own hair or giving yourself fresh new layers again literally makes me want to go to the hair salon again I’m already completely over trying to lighten my hair the last time I light my hair salon and spent almost $500 getting a balayage, but the woman ended up giving me highlights on top of that Which is why I realized she charged me so much I’m just really turned off by hairdressers these days
Thank you I've been cutting my hair for a couple of years now I love these ponytail cuts really helped the thinning look in the back get a nice blunt cut
Hi paul, i'm very impressed by your tutorial, especially the butterflycut ones and i wanted to ask if you could do a pinterest fairy haircut inspired video? lol bc im wearing a long bob with straight bangs since years, my hair is broken and damaged from bleach lol, so maybe you could give me some inspiration for something new🙌 looking up to your next videos😊
Ok clearly I'm confused (for the 1st time since discovering you). Please do more of this technique (dumb it down a tiny bit more for us natural blondes) lol. Thanks for these diy's btw. You've given me the confidence I needed through thorough, well-explained(and shown) demonstrations to cut my own hair. Because of YOU a disabled, formerly well kempt, almost middle-aged woman found a little bit of her beauty again. Suddenly it was that 'beautiful on the inside' FEELING that came with it that made the smile return to her face as well and that is and always will be priceless @PaulWattsHair BLESS YOU XOXOXO
I’ve done so many ponytail haircuts on my hair and if you don’t fine tune them they definitely look shaggy. If you like shaggy haircuts they are great but if you want perfect and your haircut to look like this one you should go to a professional.
I like the idea of this over foil, but it’s just hard to believe that getting all that tape out of your hair wouldn’t turn into a sticky insane mess, with hair ripping out 😬
do you think this would work with like really fluffy wavy hair? the mannequin has alot thinner hair than me and the tutorials i keep watching have the same thing?
