I think Kendrick is more prepared than he is calculated just from taking his time. Drake should have waited for Kendrick to drop the first diss track as Like That verse didn't warrent Push ups. Drake has constantly put himself at a disadvantage by going first and giving his opp the luxury of knowing what angle will work in response. But as a fan of hip hop I don't think we get these battles without him being willing to throw the first blow so I respect it. Without Not like us it would still be debatable who won. I think a battle between Kendrick and Cole would have been nothing but 7 minute drills. They can rap but neither has salacious rumors in the public that really sway how the larger audience scores it.
