I have no experience but what type of wood would I need to make a more durable deck like this? I have a 10x10 gazebo Im buying and wanted it to sit atop a deck like this with the deck being about 12x12.
@manowar8075 The plastic pallets required no top boards. Its smooth tops were perfect. I did, however, add outdoor waterproof adhesive and a dry cement method to control the shifting between the pallets. I then topped with a custom size outdoor rug.. i got from Ollies .Be sure to get "free milk or beer pallets" they are the strongest. They also have no holes on the top of the surface..
3 years, for $100 and a little bit of time, well worth it! Especially for something like at a camp, or a temporary solution like in a rental property etc.
Nice work! Why are so many people leaving negative comments, what is it you expect for $100? He mentions it temporary and a rental, anyone else have any ideas to build a nice sturdy TEMPORARY deck for $100....would love to hear them....😂
The ru-vid.comUgkxS-P9OAq3v4HNpPFqYFWNEq9A-E_PbZIN are indeed helpful, and the product is entirely promising if you are looking forward to building a single shed in your home It is entirely different from the other havoc packages that we usually see online and therefore it is such a package beyond expectations!
Agreed. I bought 25 pieces from Lowe's it costed 5.48 per pressured treated wood piece. I put mine on top of plastic pallets. I would suggest getting plastic pallets.
This is a terrible idea for building a deck. I'm not even that knowledgeable in construction or landscaping. But I do know how those pallets are cheap wood that is meant to last a few times before being refurbished. This wood will rot quickly. I give that deck one year before it starts breaking apart.
It's clearly stated that this is meant to be temporary. He's hoping for one year only. He is in a rental, so there is no need for an expensive deck. I built a small temporary deck for my truck camper entrance, hoping for one year. It lasted for three years!
