@@jaidenpearson8494 yes, looking at this video again, without having played the game for years, I feel the urge to scream at myself from time to time. 😅
Pro tip: (you're probbably never gonna play this game again but) In the 3 choose 1 pannel if you see a checker board pattern on a 2x2 square it is impossible.
@@ChrisMMaster0 it’s a good tip, it feels I tried to brute force it too late in the evening. And it worked! 😂 Looking at it again now I see a lot of things I would have done better. I haven’t played the game since, but think of it quite often. 🤗
Also this last challenge section put this game over the top for me in terms of my favorite game ever, I love puzzles and like Grieg is p cool, esp paired with a timed puzzle component
This challenge was crazy to me because the time I beat it was the onllyyy time I got past the maze (after the like 2 “possible” out of 6 “impossible” puzzles) and I was p much at the end of the song and I hit up the first pillar piuzzle , thought it was the only one, heard the music going still and had to finish the last pillar puzzle in like 3 seconds did it the first try, couldn’t believe it
Flashbacks. XD A tip which helped me a lot was that in the 3x black and white panels, if there is a 2x2 square with alternating colours, it's impossible to solve so you can rule it out. I also just took a photo of the maze with my phone every time.
Lol yes took me many month to get it. If you practice the puzzles you can get a little quicker. The maze is actually the hard part because it’s all depends on the path you drew on the other puzzle at the beginning
I hate that you completed it in a chill pace with some questionnably easy mistakes 😄 I'm not into challenges and achievements in games but damn this challenge got me #ChallengeAccepted
I just beat this the other day and I just realized that the maze was supposed to be memorized from the fourth puzzle... In all of my attempts I brute forced the maze just trying and trying and lost so many time there, but managed to get it eitherway dont know how XD Good job that you realized what was going on, i should have thought i was doing it wrong
There are several watchdog catacombs in Elden Ring. The imps are in the Impaler's Catacombs, this was in Wyndham Catacombs. Hmm, maybe I should have named the catacombs this fight was in.
The music is what got me. It got inside my head and everytime I was on the last few puzzles it would start to speed up and it really messed with me psychologically. I was ECSTATIC when I finally completed it.
I always heard how bs hard this was, but when I actually did it I found it to be way easier than I was thinking. I thought the song was like super short but it's not. The only difficult part would be the 2 sets of 3 panels where some are impossible and you have to choose the right ones. And the very end with the spinning pillars. I hate those pillars Took me about 4 attempts to do it
I never actually understood the maze puzzle first time through. I just got so good at sight reading the other puzzles that I was able to throw most of my time away at the maze.
For the section where you need to figure out which puzzle is solvable, look for criss-cross patterns that don't touch the edge. These are unsolvable and should be spotted before attempted to solve. With the cylinder puzzles, try to examine the entire thing and not just focus on one section, easier said than done though.
@@faland0069 yes, it’s been out on iPad/iPhone/Itouch for like 2 years now I would say...and they’ve updated it regularly to improve performance and graphics as hardware gets better. It doesn’t look as nice as console/pc obviously, but it’s the same exact game in all respects and it still looks gorgeous. Nice little game to have on the go for sure.
I got to be honest. of course i mean no offense towards you or anyone it is just an opinion. But you were allot slower then me at most puzzles and i really had a hard time beating the challenge so i think you got really lucky on the pillars. Also dam you might have had 0.2 seconds left or something XD
And I did the pillars in less than 30 seconds total doesn't necessarily mean your slower than me, but peoples minds work differently where I can roll through the tetris puzzles in no time and struggle with the star ones. My friend was the opposite.
I loved it , I didn’t cut it as close as OP but like had 3 more seconds to spare bc I got so lucky with LIT EVERY SINGLE RANDOMIZED PUZZZLE. My fave game
