Why would you add an output as well as input? If you don't know what outputs values, does this impair the work? I'd like to compare irrigated vs non-irrigated corn systems. So, I'd put in corn seeds, irrigation/non-irrigation, land, etc., but I don't know what would count as an output. Thanks!
Hello! I have access to ecoinvent database for non-OECD countries. But, my dilemma is, can we import (use) that database for openLCA? or only openLCA nexus based ecoinvent database can be imported?(which has to be purchased!) Thanks anyways for tutorial, it was really helpful !

you may go for ecoinvent database for inventory of your sub processes but the worst thing is you have to buy ecoinvent. Its not free except non oecd countries.

What is the justification for choosing a particular input among very several similar other possible inputs within the database? For example, why are we choosing carrot seed, organic, at the farm gate -FR and not the Normandy value? FR stands for France why choose France value? I know this is just a tutorial but I guess what I am asking is is there a description for this data that can be looked at to be able to say, hey this is the appropriate one to usevbased on this description
