Late to the party, but hairspray and gluestick can often make the bltouch stick. Give the porbe a good cleaning and follow the BLtouch manual for sensitivity adjustment.
@@janishenderson4186 Just make sure they're plugged in good. Have good connections. It's lubricated good. Both sides are at the same height so its not binding. The driver board is Ok?
Having same issue. Was printing fine never had any issues then z axis just stopped. Tried replacing motors... nothing. I checked all cables and level senor still nothing. I have no clue anyone get this working?
I also had this issue turns out I was using too much glue and the glue got stuck on the probe and then the probe got stuck I had to rub the probe and wiggle it a bit to make it not stuck never had a issue since.
I have bee fighting with this issue since Sept last year. Straight out of the box it homed to the center of the bed and about 3 inches above it. I was even in touch with the Creality company but none of their suggestions have helped. I have watched so many videos on this issue. Replaced various parts that other people replaced and it fixed theirs. I am going to attempt replacing the Z-Axis wiring next. One video I watched the person checked theirs for current and it ended up having a broken wire. After he pulled the old with and stripped it the break was almost 3 inches up from the connecter. After this I don't know what I will do. I may be a software coding issue? But I have no idea how to check that.
Gently pull the probe out with your finger. If not bent or broken the z-axis will usually go down. Cut off machine, restart and see if auto home will send it back to start. Otherwise reflash with CORRECT software.
My prints weren't sticking to the bed. I realized the nozzle wasn't close enough to the bed. I have since replaced with magnetic beds and things are much cleaner.
If you have the same issue as in this video and your BL touch is blinking, its the BL touch. It’s failing the self test. You’ve most likely damaged the BL touch, try unscrewing the top black screw on the BL touch by a couple turns. If it doesn’t work, the BL touch must be replaced and is 30 dollars. Everything will work after replacement, trust me.
I had this problem yesterday but had a bent probe point on the bl touch and the red light was constantly flashing. I replaced the probe point and reset BLTOUCH in menu. All seems ok now.
i have the CR-10S5 and mine is doing the exact same thing.ive tried to work with support and they have be checking all the connections and nafter i told them all the connections are correct they want me to start swithing ports on the mother board to test it. i paid over $700 for this and shouldnt have to check anything. ive sent them videos of everything they needed to find the problem and im done. about to contact amazon and ask for a credit to another 3D printer, anything other than creality
I just got my new CR10S Pro V2 and have the same issue. I reset by Z axis to 0 on home and it keeps going to 29.9. I disable the motor and lower but it goes right back up again. I literally been up all night watching searching and watching videos and cant find any solutions. This is BS Creality. I spent $600 for a giant headache. Amazon is getting this one back!!
any luck on this? mine is doing the same thing after being turned off for a month. worked fine before. its not blinking red but otherwise exactly the same.
Looks like there have been some suggestions, however when the BLtouch pin is not bent, sometimes the BLtouch sensor pin isn't deploying. For some reason the magnetic coil isn't working to deploy the pin. You can take a fairly strong magnet (Rare earth magnet or some type) and rub it on the band around the top part of the BLtouch sensor (right above the plug.) For some reason, it almost re-magnetizes the coil, and makes it work again. I've done this a few times, and it turned my BLtouch from blinking red, to blue and red like normal.
now I'm not an expert on creality hardware, I own a CR-10 Max with out of the box firmware/software, and with it, I bought some extra cleaning and maintaining supplies, when I unboxed and assembled it (named it Creamy btw :3 ) I discovered a couple extra spare parts... idk if the CR-10 Pro v2 comes with extra spare parts but located in that bag of spare parts there should be a replacement bl touch probosci's witch you can just replace with the bent one, the reason it might not be doing the homing run (keep in mind its blinking red) might be because there's some sorta precheck protocol on all motors and sensors so it might not be letting the commands through due to that exact reason. I originally came here because mine was doing a funny howling sound when moving the entire bed fast... seems I won't find my answer here but I hope I was a help:)
im not a student but oh my this is so informative just a little fast but i have a pause button hey i have never used this program but i am going to tryit now thanks from jk in uk
A bit late to your video. Your bl touch probe was bent. I have experienced a similar situation with my CR touch. I unbent the probe using a pair of pliers, and discovered that the bent probe was caused by loose connector wiring that did not retract the probe, therefore crashing the probe into the bed/prints. At the end I used hot glue to fixate the loose wiring on cr touch.
