Rudnik was just 9 months old when he was left at a livestock auction by his breeder. I don't know his story before that, whether he was pulled from his mom or why he was given up. Due to his frantic behavior, no one except a K!llbuyer wanted him. Thankfully a well-known horse rescue saw that a KB was his only bid and quickly outbid him and won.
Rudnik even came with his AQHA registration papers. His reg. name: Cash Tivios Gold. The rescue called him Tivio. I renamed him, Rudnik when I found and adopted him from the rescue at 11 months old. We have a video series that documents our journey together as he went from being an untouchable, mistrusting little colt, to the 'lap horse' he has become today.
Our pinned video also explains how he came to get his name 'Rudnik'.
I hope you'll come along with us on our daily adventures. We share a mix of content from Rudnik's daily shenanigans, our trail rides, to understanding horses' body language and basic horse care.
@@needsaride15126 I’m sorry but did you even watch the video? As stated in the video when it blew up on IG and TT - yes it was millions. Over 16M on TT, over 10M on IG plus all the media outlets across the world who picked it up. So yes ‘millions around the world’
You could be 100 yrs older. changed your hair color, and decided to put purple polka dots on your face,,, and still Rudnik wouldn't have cared. As long as you still came to see him. As long as you still loved him, Rudnik loves your heart, and all horses see and judge us humans from that perspective.
@@lindalape8493 he does know how to clean hooves, he was just having an off day. And a well trained horse will be patient with beginners and it won’t matter how they’re doing it. I’m just happy he’s taking an interest in my passion and willing to learn.
It's cute the entire herd went to check on him! The one thing I noticed (yea yea i saw the hoof thing, I could tell he was learning) but he didn't have any sweat marks on him, then suddenly he had a sweaty girth mark (talking about that big roan) on him. Editing? Cute vid overall. I wonder if the Roan is part Appy, (spots on his rump) Sweet boy. Looks like he would be a joy to ride.
I think everyone approves! You look great, and both Rudnick and your doggie are as adorable as you are. Good job, fiancé, way to cheer up your girl. ❤❤❤
What a lovely roan color Rudnik is, and he has nice buns, too! The previous video I saw was with his winter coat, so the roan didn't show up much. And I think your young man is getting along fine in his new journey with Rudnik! In fact, it brings up a question. When he was taking him back to pasture, Rudnik was getting a bit close on his heels, so he commented, "There is such a thing as manners…". Do you think it's eagerness to get back to pasture and buddies, or anticipating treats? I wondered because it's a very common thing and there are various opinions on hand-feeding. One of the most balanced trainors I've heard on the subject suggests that if a horse is already lacking some respect for the human's space, or if that respect of space starts to slip a bit, it's a good idea to eliminate hand-feeding until the respect of space habit is firmly established (even to switch it up by putting treats in the feed bucket or on the ground away from the human), and then reintroduce hand-feeding if desired. From the safety perspective it’s obviously very important for a horse to leave sufficient space around their human; unless the habit is very well-established they can do us a lot of damage without even realizing it, especially if spooked. I've certainly seen lots of people use treats, for various reasons, and many of them don't have problems with pushiness. Wondered what your thoughts/experiences are?
First time here…I dont know anything about horses but his body language sure changed when he arrived at new location…he perked up and showed so much interest!
I want to tell everyone about someone amazing. His name is Jesus. He loves us so much. First Corinthians 15:3-7 tells us that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and on the third day rose from the dead. He did this so that we may be able to enter Heaven though him. All you have to do is put your faith and trust in him, accept him as Lord and savior, and follow him. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only begotten son that whosever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life” God is so good. God bless
Under certain lighting conditions you can get a similar effect when flying radio controlled airplanes. There are two orientations of the plane that show basically the same silhouette. If you get confused, the plane will turn in the opposite direction you desire.
Either way, he's at peace with his stroll. I envy his alone time, just him and the road he's following. We should take a moment and reflect, especially in today's stressed out times. Some peace would go a far way.. 🤍🪽
Nope his natural coat grows long and thick enough to keep him more than warm! He’d only need a coat if he wasn’t able to grow his own or if he was sick/old and unable to keep weight on to keep himself warm. Blanketing a horse who can grow their own would do more harm than good by causing them to overheat/sweat and stunt the growth of their natural coat
Think your hair is lovely suits you! Rudnik did certainly know something was different and your partner like it to. When our son was a toddler I decided to have all my very long hair cut short so it was easier to cope with having a small child! Poor little chap cried his eyes out when he saw me quite confused my voice but didn't look like his mum, thankfully he soon realise it was me. I felt so guilty I wished I could have stuck my hair back on. So please if you do decide to have yours cut shore possibly best time is before you have your little cowboy. Loved they way Rudnik also greeted his soon to be little brother too. You look wonderful you definitely have the glow!💖
