thanks for making this. i woke up this morning to water around my pump and didnt know what was wrong. i did some research online before i found my check valve was seized and the rubber ball inside was eaten away and destroyed. i found other similar videos about the check valve but never thought to run it without the valve in to make sure it still pumped water at all and wasnt something else. when i checked without the valve removed, it just blasted water so i knew it was still good. new valve should be in tomorrow. thanks again.
Just seen this. Have a KM with pole saw (ht-km). Do i just disconect the saw from the shaft and fit the angled gearhead between the 2? Have a tall thick growth hedge and would rather cut the vertical branches from the ground than from a access platform. Also if cutting vertical branches should the oil reservoir be on top or underneath.
If i have a roof vent for kitchen sink completely packed tight full of leaves , acorns and debri and its severely packed full and idk if a hand held auger snake i hsve will do the job being the pipe is packed slam full of debri , could i just add a stuter vent under the kitchen sink and bypass the roof vent being its clogged tight as a tick
I had water all over my basement and started doing some research. I was able to follow your video step by step and it ended up being a dirty check valve. The q tip and paper clip worked for me, thanks for the video!
It was filled with a gooey gel bacteria when I took it apart cleaned it all off make sure the hose was good make sure the floats would move put it all back in it runs beautiful however this water is not draining out I think the pump it burned out It’s a base aire 90x and I can’t find the part anywhere it cost me a grand for this machine warranty for five years and the pump died in two years and they don’t warranty the pump nor do they have it online
Awesome content on the honda trimmer with kombi attachments. May i ask how you did this since the honda shaft has a star pattern while the stihl has a square? Thanks! I have a honda HHT35 trimmer that i am trying to retrofit to accept all of my old ryobi expandit attachments. I am hoping to do something similar to your other video but using ryobi upper parts rather than stihl. However, i dont fullly understand how you are using this long honda shaft since it has the wrong cable inside.
When was your unit manufactured? And are you in the United States? Mine unit came with an inner flexible cable that has a square end (not a star). So Stihl Kombi inner and outer shafts were a direct swap without needing to make any custom modifications to the inner shaft ends, or the Honda motor head.
@ErikAsquith you are right! I just looked at my unit (solid shaft hht35s) and it was square shaft... but I looked at the versattach units and they appear to have a hex shaft. I was able to take my toro expand-it and put it right on the honda! Thanks!
just a little info the bottom of the little giant check vale pops off so you can clean it make sure to put the ball back in place before putting the cap back on . the q tip will not get the stuff on the other side of the ball .
I called for HVAC service. The tech didn't even try to diagnose the problem or attempt to repair my existing pump. He immediately concluded I needed a new condensate pump and I had no choice but to pay $900 for the service charge to come out, the "labor" to install (45 minutes) and the pump ($75 on amazon).
You want to tin the flange, clean up the lead pipe with wire brush and flux the outside. Add the ring. Use 50/50 solder. The ring and lead joins fairly easily, the solder actually helps the lead melt as well. There’s a video on here of doing the job. It offers structure when you solder. After adding the glue, you lose the option to solder. At some point, if your not willing to learn by practice, just pay a plumber. You will also get inspection recommendations when they are premise. It’s another benefit.
Recently decided to hunt down one of these. My first rc was a special buggy. I put that thing through hell as a kid. I had a bunch of rechargable batteries for it thankfully
If you find one, buy it! Especially the hydro one. I got one for free in 2016, it sat outside for many years prior, deck in great shape, blades all rusted up, wd-40ed it, freed it up, put some gas in, started on yhe 2nd pull, and it's been like that ever since! Quality mower
