Bring it BACK, loved watching it,, my late dad took part in many struggles on that river,, the best days before health and safety clowns killed events like that.
Fake tears, she was too busy to add anything to his farewell episode compilation and only showed this display after the event following comments at her absence.
Met him in a supermarket once. Nicest bloke you cold ever meet. But when he interviewed someone, he did not let them get away with anything. I hope he continues to work somewhere.
Snow is as common as Seeing a normal person in Tiverton.... Take away all the sponging council tennants and the triple inbreds and Tiverton might just be ok.
Well filmed, superb piece of news coverage. Just one thought: As canals are designed to prevent the water level varying, what caused the embankment to collapse?

This film should be copied for our local museum. A typical sunny Spring day late in the afternoon after the market closes but the shops are still open. It captures the new Packs jewellers shop next to Smiths, the closure of Waterstones bookshop and (I think) Wally Burke coming out of the Town Hall right at the end of the film. Really enjoyable!
It's changed a lot hasn't it. I have been going down there for so long now,I still love it tho, nice to see it like this because I went even born then :)
