Ren is indeed seriously impressive. I hit "Hi Ren" last year and it pushed me to go back to some old journals to reintegrate old voices that still creep in pretty strongly from time to time, but I now know the reason they were so amplified was because my body was very out of whack (pituitary tumor probably triggered by a parasite I got in Ecuador in 2010). untrust to doctors came from his personal experience. he had Lime deciese wich was diagnosed as psycotic illnes and was medicated as one. later when it was correctly diagnosed he had to much counciquences from it and metnal health issue from previuous medications
My best friend also killed himself 1 year and 6 months ago. I only had a feeling something was wrong my gut felt so heavy. I warned our other friends something was wrong, I warned his mom, I called for help to countless people, crisis hotline too. His girlfriend later told me he was worried I was the only one not believing him when he said he was going to Spain and dying from cancer. No one listened. Until one day he had a timed post on Instagram saying he was sorry to lying to all his friends about his trip, and having cancer, and to forget about having a funeral. I texted his mom immediately what I saw, and tried to keep calling him. After a few minutes I called her and all I could hear was a scream I will never forget. He shot himself on his moms porch with towels wrapped around him so his mom wouldn't have to clean up his blood. I then found out he told his mom when he went to "Spain" to make sure I was taken care of and had a good life. He was my brother for 13 years, we met when we were 14. His mom wouldn't let anyone post or tell anyone he died, she was embarrassed but also didn't tell her family. Everyone told me I was right and they should have listened.. But that doesn't matter when its already over, it doesn't help the feelings of guilt, anger, depression. Please everyone remember if someone says something is not right, someone is not okay, don't push it off. They could be wrong, but it could be a life or death situation meaning trying is better than nothing. Everyone would rather be wrong than right about there friend wanting to kill themselves

That is the step beyond hope, when your hope has been destroyed and yet, at the last second you find something inside to keep going in spite of the utter hopelessness. That is a voice I have heard more than once.

Great reaction video, I love that you take it all in and not just focusing on one aspect of the video because Ren does a lot. But I have to say that Ren is right about that there is no winners or losers but there is victims and students. Because if there is losers then they have lost at/in something, like they have failed and that is not really right but victims have been or are being negatively impacted from something. An example is if you lost a game that is because you chose to play and didn’t play as good as someone else (so a loser), but you can become a victim wherever you are like someone can break into your house or you can be hit by a car. A loser chose to be in the situation where you possibly can become a loser but a victim can just exist and something or someone else does something that makes them a victim.

The deep breath into the scream at 14:28 hit me like a freight train as well the first time I heard this song. So much emotion behind that scream, it's beautiful.
Of all the reactions to this song I’ve seen, you are the first to even notice the part at the “triumphant” end part of the song where the lights are still flickering. I believe that whole end is eluding to finally figuring it out. His guitar playing takes the edgier sound, while his singing takes the more beautiful sound he has. Kind of symblozies finding a balance of the beauty inside the chaos.

I read that he had Lyme Disease, which occasionally has a rare side effect of causing manifestations of paranoia, hallucinations, mania, and/or obsessive compulsive symptoms (schizo-effective disorder). ALSO.... Apparently he recorded this whole video in one take, with multiple cameras, and wanted to stick with just that first take. And yep... he's really singing in it, no... He wasn't lip syncing in it like most artists do. He had a mic on, and you can see the difference in his posture for the high notes, and the breath points. So.... One take video and musically.... Take it or leave it, that was gonna be it. One & done. No recording studio work on it with dubbing... I was crying every time I watched this,(EVERY.DAMN.TIME). because of my time working in the hospital with people that struggle with psychosis every day of their life.... I just wish more could be done for them.... This has become my favorite song, and by far the most profound song I have ever listened to. BTW, he is from somewhere in Wales I believe. Don't ever be sorry for being emotional take it from someone who buried alot of stuff and locked it away for years always feel them and deal with them Alot of people nowadays don't talk about emotions and sometimes they take their own lives but if you are struggling with things trust me you are not alone and you can get through it I know because I've been on that cliff edge believing their was no way out but there's always hope storms don't last forever sometimes the hardest battles we face in life are battle in our minds but it's a battle you can win. If you need to talk to someone there's support groups out there in the UK there's Andys mans club and the women's wellness club go check them out and remember your not alone
You missed the point in the winners vs losers he classified that there are victims and students. Victims let their doubts and troubles win. Students learn from the doubts and struggles and become better for them.
