Yes, some call it, The Beast! 👹 Especially during the summer months when the trail is devoured by overgrowth. I never hike it at that time; too scary! 😱
That's because it was never before seen footage! 👀 Last August I heard something walking in the woods behind our house. Thought it was the usual Deer. But it turned out to be a Bear! (And he wanted me to give him a voice....) 🐻

Yes deer at times come very near especially if their friends or babies are endangered. They know some people have compassion. Animals too, are made in Gods image as far as love goes❤

It was something I found way back in the bottom of my closet.....I brushed the mildew off the package and decided to try it. It came from Walmart. I didn't try it on before I left..... When it came time to put it on, my head would barely fit through the opening! (It's a good thing I'm not bigheaded! 🤪) I found out that it was smaller in other ways, too. I tried to do my normal 'Quasimodo' set up; but soon icy water was chill'n my A--- ...er...butt! 🥶 So I quickly abandoned my pack to the elements, (It did have a cover on, after all) if favor of keeping myself dry. Other than that, it worked great!
I can't believe you actually used that tree to get across quicksand creek, and with your backpack on nonetheless! Not me! Not a chance in H-E-double-hockey-sticks! 😬
My only regret it that I didn't get it all on camera. You should have seen me trying to take my pack off and balance on the tree. At one point, my water bottle fell out, rolled down the trunk and hit my foot. I was able to snatch it back before it disappeared down in the rushing water below!!
