@@ThatLondonLady i'm not an expert on this field so i can't say your exact results but they could say you are jewish and have some other connections from different ethnicities. But they make it like ''60% moroccon jew'' but not ''50% jew and %10 moroccon'' it's just an example.

Well she is actually Jewish by both parents so the test wasn’t wrong.

@@dankworlddk5933 it seems some people got the update & others just didn’t! It was just automatically there I didn’t do anything. Those that tested with MyHeritage 4+ years ago seem to be the majority that got updates.

@@MinisterofGod712 2.2% is not that significant, but it could definitely be real too. If you have an older close relative to test it could give you more clarity where the Kenyan & other ethnicities you’re unsure about came from.

@@nickkerr4893 well I’m actually Egyptian Jewish so it wasn’t completely inaccurate for me. Ashkenazi Jewish is Eastern European / Slavic so a completely different ethnicity to Arab Jews. I think the Tunisian would more likely be closer to Moroccan; My great grandfather was Moroccan & they are Amazigh. The Libyan is confused with Egyptian I am sure. Another update is needed!

There is no such thing as Greece. Greece is only a region. All Greeks are orthodox Albanians in denial. You can thank Britain, France and Russia for that.

It’s probably a mixture of testing different living people from both Armenia & Turkey; And also the research they found from testing ancient bones & teeth from those geographical locations & they come to their estimates. The original version actually lumped Turkey & Iran together, so obviously they now have found new data which differentiates between them.

And jews arent even ethnicity they are people believing in judaism. For example if I am a tunisian and change my religion into judaism then my dna turns into tunisian jewish? my old dna result said that i am 25 procent jewish now the company changed it mind and made me 95 procent egyptian and 2 procent iraqi while it doesnt make sence because no one of my familie came from these areas i am syrian.
