I quit my job today and it feels great! I thought I would be scared or upset but my manager was harassing me and I know they're scrambling to replace me right now, so it feels amazing! Ingratiate yourselves at your shitty jobs so you can quit unexpectedly and scare the crap out of your boss. It's so gratifying!
A studio for $350 per what day? Your on drugs if you think that those prices are realistic. I live here my rent is 3k a month for a 2 bedroom. Id love to see you post some of these $350 a month places. You can’t even live in the worst part of playa del Carmen for $350 a month. Next month tulum and playa will have 1.8million visitors.
Funny how the pandemic proved remote work is viable and profitable. It doesn't give power tripping management the same high, though. Love how many people have figured out they can tell mgmt to shove it and continue to work remotely for another company.
Exactly. I had a boss who spent probably 2/3 of his time strutting around the office trying to see what the rest were doing, on phone, in the files, etc. His favorite line was "is that work related?" like some big baboon. I'd find a post it note on my desk if I was away asking 'where are you!'..... to irritate him I said I had gone to HR to report a problem I have with MANAGEMENT. That shut him up.
I don't think these low end rental prices are correct. For a good location, wifi and safety, i think you'd be at least $800-$1200 USD. They've also really crept up for the upcoming summer.
Personally I would have them all back in the office, unfortunately to many of the WFH crowd took the P155, and showed that there are some who can’t be trusted!! And to quote particular “HR professionals” when shop floor workers get a blanket beating “the minority resin it for the majority”
When you applied for a job it was to work at an establishment not from home. So if you want to resign it’s up to you there many people looking for a job. And if you were an employer you would think differently
As an employer what some of y’all don’t realize is that you are replaceable. You don’t understand that if we take this approach we already took into account your resignation preemptively.
@@ImaNPCman that’s fair. It’s their choice and model. We remain in business today with ours. Just different approaches. Work from home is not everyone’s cup of tea. People can quit if they want bc they want to remain remote and we say bye and best of luck. Then we just hire someone who is grateful, talented and prefers to come in the office. Simple.
I've found it conducive to work at the office. It puts my mind in the proper work mode without the possible distractions your personal environment might include. I've also found that sometimes just being there presents opportunities you might not have otherwise. I suppose certain personalities flourish in the home while others prefer a busier environment. To each their own and if you can deal with being out of work for any length of time, quitting is always an option. The company has survived before you and likely will continue to do so after you depart. Just my 2 cents. Best to all.
Agree have triavelled extensively and now live in Cape town... its a special place and very affordable. I own a house for nomads and we get alot of Germans... where are the rest of the travellers? On power CT is moving onto its own grid to keep the lights on..
