Amazing! So true… this is exactly what I have been telling my husband for years. I don’t care about wealth, vacations, home remodeling, fancy things, etc. I just want to pray together. I want us TO be ONE. One heart, one Spirit, one mind. To be focused on Jesus and for our home to be devoted to Him alone 🙏🏻. Thanks for this message!
I met John Perkins many many years ago at Cornerstone Festival. He made time to sit and talk with everyone that wanted to meet and speak with him. I bought his book and he happily signed my copy. He was a very interesting man with a story that all should hear.
Please pray for my marriage at 37 years. My name is Debbie . My husband’s name is Joe BASTIN he’s having an affair and I know he’s going through something because of the military because he feel like he’s missed out on life. I am not sure but please pray that God restores our marriage, so I am standing firm. I love him unconditionally and I do not want to give up on our marriage. Look at all the division it brought to the body of Christ. If this was from God we would be united but this is from the flesh and the world and the Devil used this to bring division and that's what it did. A good tree can only produce good fruit and a bad tree can only produce bad fruit, you will know by the fruit it produces.

How divine this appointment the Lord has assigned me too. Before yesterday I’d never heard of this man nor I never even knew he existed. But GOD! GOD The Father preordained in time this divine appointment for HIS own Glory. I’m in awe 🫢 over the matter. But blessed no less. How divine is it “Mrs. Regina”? I’m so glad you asked? I had just listened to a teaching on RU-vid University, when my spirit got fastened to the Word I’d heard that Word was 1 John 4:1, Beloved, believe not evry spirit, but try the spirit whether they are of God:. When I heard this I honestly realized at that moment that I did not know how to do this? So I whispered a prayer and asked The Lord how do I test evry spirit to know if it’s of YOU! (Btw this was yesterday 6.1.22, for the prayer) And today here this man out of know where lands in my RU-vid with a sermon on “How to test the spirits”? Long story short I clicked play and was blessed in my soul with what I heard. It was as if he was here now preaching a right now Word in this generation. The Word he taught with power and authority then has changed my heart, my love and my understanding. I’m thankful for his willingness to be used of GOD then for me today. Amen!

If you listen to the CD set it sounds as though he is critiquing today's money, celebrity and entertainment obsessed church. But he went to be with the LORD in 1963. The Holy Spirit gave him tremendous, prescient insight.
This book is absolutely amazing. So beautifully illustrated and written, that it captivates you that you cannot put it down. With these stories I could teach our kids life lessons and compare and explain with real life examples and stories. Its an absolute blessing for any family. Highly recommend it. We are sad that we already finished it. We wished there would be more books like that! And it would be wonderful to turn this book into a movie for children. 😊

My husband told me a few years ago “praying with you is like praying with our pastor.” I know his hesitation to lead was partly my fault because in the very beginning of our marriage, I criticized how he led, so he backed off. I continued to pray for myself and for my husband. 9-10 years later I also asked for forgiveness for what I did. We are now almost 13 years into our marriage and this year (2024) we started praying together. 🙏🏻❤️ it’s a process. I am learning to back off and to pray more for God to do His own work. All I can say is PRAY. Start praying much ALONE! Ask God to soften your heart. Praying together is a blessing and those feelings are certainly not from God. He will help :) Blessings!
