New golfer here! I bought one and I think its too long for me. It felt good in the house, pause but once I got on the green it was a whole other thing. I am thinking I need to trim the fat and go with a blade style and maybe a 34-35. Any suggestions? Looking at the Wilson M4 on Amazon.
Here's my experience with Greenworks.... I purchased the 60V 21' Cordless Battery Self-Propelled Lawn Mower 10 months ago, May 2023 The self-propelled system has stopped working...... it is now a push mower. I have to mower 5k sq ft of lawn surface. I loved it until it shopped working, I called Greenworks support on the phone to inquiry how it can be repaired. I held for 3 hours before I gave up. I tried "CHAT WITH AN EXPERT", but gave up after an 1/2 hour, it told me to...... hold for an agent. Does anyone know where I can get it repaired.
there is a place on the website to find a repair place. I have the 80-volt mower from Costco and had a problem with the wheels locking up when trying to pull the mower backward, Greenworks sent me a new mower and said to keep the old we do not want it back. I took the motor and gearbox apart and found a centrifugal clutch with a broken spring. I replaced the spring and now have two mowers.
Byron i got so much grab grass it drives me crazy...So i used this thing for weeds with 4 ( i dont know what u call it) so i stab the crab grass and twist it..Some i pulled up by hand some i just use the thing..ooo then i used my weasel for the crab grass and other weeds..I want ur thoughts..
BYRON im in Texas i put weed stop on my grass in the back yard..How do i know if it has worked? I used this but the one i connect to the hose...major weeds..So after 10 days do a 2nd application?
I personally don’t like the one you hook to the hose. It’s has a wide mouth spray and puts the chemicals on areas where there are no weeds. It actually killed some areas of my lawn. That’s I I prefer the hand spray bottle.
Don’t buy it, I had to return mine because it kept dying after 17 mins… also the multiple times it just stopped because it wasn’t strong enough. The grass was shorter this the one they are cutting in this video. Also when the mower dies you can’t just put the battery on the charger as it is to “hot”. You have to wait over a hour to charge the battery again. Took me 3 days to cut a quarter acre

Hey. Looks like you did a good job with your pre-emergent application. From a distance it looks like the weeds you were spraying were Poa Annua. I’m not sure that sprectracide product will work on that. Image with the red label kills Poa but it works really slow and usually requires two applications. Crabgrass doesn’t usually arrive until the summer months.
@@bryonsview I mix Sedge Ender at 5.5oz per gallon and there is only 16oz in a bottle for a little over $20, That's a higher concentration than Weed Stop so it does work faster and gets a total kill in 1 application. A gallon will cover a lot of nutsedge but once you mix it you need to use it in within a day or 2. Just bought some Empero which is a powder and is a generic of SedgeHammer.
I use the concentrate in my 2 gallon Ryobi sprayer since I only spot spray my yard and have a lot of mulched and rocked flowerbeds to also spray. It works well although it sometimes takes a couple of applications. I'm in Texas so I can't use the crabgrass killer which is quinclorac.
@@bryonsview I use 2 Oz per gallon plus a surfactant that has ammonium sulfate in it. For nutsedge I've been combining the weed stop with Sedge Ender. This year I'm going to try Empero in place of the Sedge Ender. Empero is a little cheaper version of SedgeHammer.
@@bryonsview I've had my Ryobi sprayer since 2019 and also use it to spray for scorpions and such around my house foundation. It doesn't spray as high or far as it use to but still gets the job done.
Get the WeedStop for Lawns 32 oz. concentrate instead of the pre diluted Ready to Spray bottle. Add 3 fl oz. per gallon of water of the concentrate into the sprayer. I add an ounce of green marker dye to make sure I know what weeds I have sprayed.
Do this when the grass is growing actively and not once it has slowed or during droughts. Timing all depends on your zone as Byron stated. Your mixture depends on your individual lawn. Too much sand will kill your lawn and applying too much to a area may not get the results needed. Watering in is a must especially if your area is not receiving rain.
Only thing missing is a compost/peatmoss spreader to make the job very easy. I did it your way this year, but next year I will be using the spreader. Good job!!!!!!!!
You can do this leveling project year round. The only hurdle is winter your grass is probably dormant. So the grass won’t blend until spring. I would suggest maybe doing a spot level around the deep spots. Then wait until spring to do entire area.
As long as the unit themselves are the same voltage. For example my lawn mower and leaf blower are 80v and they use 80v battery. However, I made the mistake buying the 60V weed trimmer thinking the 80v battery would work and it didn’t!
Great video! Sadly my Greenworks trimmer is the old style where you have to wind it in manually and pray it works when you attach it to the head again. Such a pain and really hoping to upgrade to the Load N Go trimmer sooner than later.
The weedstop actually works! All the nutsedge is dying it took about 5days for the chemical to kick in! It was 7$ at Lowe’s. I plan on making a video later this week! Thanks for your support!
This garbage company sucks. They continue to sell this POS trimmer while knowing that the easily worn out spool head is impossible to replace. I have spoken to several customer service reps who all said they will be available in a month or two and it’s been a year trying to get this part replaced. I’ve searched the web exhaustively and you just can’t find it or is back ordered. They are still crookedly offering it on their website and I suggest you buy nothing from this BS company. You’ll be sorry.
