Hello everyone, If you are eager to learn how to use ChatGPT and AI to create simple PineScript strategy codes for TradingView, you are at the right place. On the TradeSmart AI channel, I will be showcasing, backtesting objective rules based strategy that I created using ChatGPT. So if you are interested in that, make sure to subscribe and turn on the notification bell!
Hi, I don’t share any information about my personal trading (such as the optimizations/strategies I use or how much I make) either here or in the paid Discord group (I am not a financial advisor). I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but it’s always been this way. I only share my research, tools, scripts, etc. By choosing the right optimization, risk management, and strategy, you can achieve returns ranging from 3% to 20% or even higher, depending on many factors. I made a few videos on the main "TradeSmart" channel, revealing post-optimization backtest results of our premium scripts. From those videos, you can gain some insight into what is possible.

The way that you compare the strategies before and after is the very best scientific method that we could ever hope for! I haven't seen any other youtuber that is sharing their research like you; Obviously giving men fish feeds them for a day, but you're teaching them how to fish and there is probably not a better reward to learn.. Thank you so much for everything that you're doing for us. I'm learning a lot! It has taken me a number of years to identify stable & consistent strategies. A+++ my man!
Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! It’s incredibly rewarding to hear that my content is helping you improve your algo trading skills. I also want to thank you for your support on Patreon :)-your contribution helps me continue creating these videos! If you enjoy my research, backtesting, and strategy creation methods, I highly recommend checking out my "Creating the Best Strategy" series on my other channel, TradeSmart. In this series, I dive deep into dozens of indicators, backtesting them thoroughly to find the most effective ones. These are some of my favorite videos to make, and I'm excited to announce that the next part-focusing on the best stop-loss methods-will be released in just a few days! :D
I'm with you man, thank you for sharing your scientific methods here; I'm following a long with you on all this and am really thankful that you are sharing your research. From Birmingham, AL, Evan Jones
köszi a videót Botond! néha a legegyszerűbb a legjobb... ajánlom a következő stratégiát, hátha ad ötletet... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sBRzsOamdzg.html - alapből is jó találati aránya van cryptokon, én egy picit fejlesztettem a kilépési szabályokat -úgy méginkább.
Can you help with the automation using alert or alertcondition() functions that might allow us to automate this strategy with a Trade Orchestration software?
Let me know if you have tried coding with chatgpt before! Get the script and support the channel: www.patreon.com/tradesmart224/shop/top-bottom-strategy-inspired-by-292618?source=storefront
Yes, your videos inspired me to give it try. I encourage people to keep learning pine script, once you know how to edit variables, conditions etc you will a save a lot of time and rely less on ChatGPT, trust me bro!
That is absolutely right. If you backtest bitcoin on 2011 price data, where Binance didn't even exist, liquidity were terrible, slippage was 10-100 times bigger, of course you will get bad results. What algorithmic traders recommend is to not go back further than 5 years with backtesting or optimizing, as in 5 years many things change: many new exchanges brokers, fee rates, liquidity, volume, even new regulations. For example in forex or stocks after the 2008 crash the tick up rule was introduced for shorts, meaning you need 1 (or a few, I'm not 100% sure on how many) ticks up before you can get a new short order filled, this means that after 2008 many short trading strategies were never profitable again. What matters is how the strategy performs after the optimization, on live market data. Even backtest results are not enough to tell if a strategy is good or not, as there is overfitting or overoptimization potential with every strategy. After 5 years of experience I can tell you that statistically 2 out of 10 strategies will have somewhat of an edge on live market data. So I recommend you to focus on what is really important, how the strategy performs after its optimization date, on out of sample, live market data and forget about how a strategy performed 10 years ago. 4 years of backtest/optimization is more than enough.
@@TradeSmart-AI Thanks for the feedback, makes sense. I wanna give it a shot with small cash, but Im a newbie in terms of setting it up. Ive uploaded the strategy, backtesting works, but Im trying to start the automatic trading through binance and I dont know how to start it, any advice please?
@@TradeSmart-AI Thanks for the quick responce. Im thought I was gonna give it a shot and start it live with some small amount. What broker do you recommend. And what needs to be done to get it started please. Thanks :D
@@radekvecerka1115 Look up a few videos on how to automate tradingview strategies for live trading, I would go with binance or bybit for good liquidity and safety, If I'm correct both of them have tradingview alert automation built in.
I just started testing my own strategies using TV and Oanda ( Auto trading) I would be interested in testing a few of your strats on a demo account. Currently I have 8 running would like to have 15 or 20 in total for 1 or 2 months before going to a live account. Would u wanma share some strats and ill share my results with u as far as how they performed on a demo account?
But wouldnt almost all strategies show profit during those periods though? Bull market. I made a simple momentum startegy with rsi and its wildy profitable during that period. The test would be in a range market like now
I don't have many fixed take profit strategies, exit signal indicators, or trailing stop loss almost always outperform fixed stop loss and take profit strategies.

using script for trades is there a way to set this up to automatically buy and sell? or you need to watch the charts and manually enter and exit the market? great video! :D
@@tropicaleskimo3296 yes you can turn almost any script into trading bots, that's what we are mainly focused on our main "TradeSmart" channel (www.youtube.com/@TradeSmart22). In our patreon in the Smart Trader tier package you can get highly customizeable premium scripts, that have built in trading bot automation section. If you are interested check out one of the premium script tutorial videos on our main "TradeSmart" channel, all of those premium scripts are for trading bot automation.
I showed a few that worked after the optimization date in the video, but yes most of them are losing after the first 4 months. That's the reality of trading, it isn't easy to find/build a good trading system (otherwise everyone would do that). There's only one thing we can do: research, optimize and test indicators and put the best one into a trading system.
Since you're using leverage orders do you take liquidation levels into account? I notice in some of your strategies the stop losses are quite large - how do you ensure liquidation prices are further than the stop loss levels?
Thank you I really appreciate it!! Yes you could use the supertrend as stop loss but for this strategy a far stop loss works better and the supertrend line moves close to the price (at least with the optimized settings) I found that usually an exit signal indicator is better than a fixed take profit. Maybe using both with a 50%exit is the way to go.

I added your Tradingview script to my chart, but it's not even close to profitable. I made zero changes to the scripts or the settings.I simply copied it into the Tradingview editor and applied it to my chart. I'm using US30 on the 2 hour just like your video. I have the highest tier Tradingview plan. The strategy shows trades going back as June of 2018. But the performance shows 1.55% profit, 32.63% profitable trades, and 1.115 Profit Factor. I tried Deep Backtesting and got 1.28% profit, 35% profitable trades, and 1.204 Profit Factor. Why are my results so different than what you display on video?
Sir, I tried this scrip but it's different when I migrate. The initial capital comes 1000000 and the order size comes 1 contract.... After changing all this, the profit is not similar too....
Watch the video very carefully and make adjustments to the settings accordingly, I've shown on the video how I set up the script, with what position sizing so there must be some mistake on your end.
@@antoineabed6828 The settings are usuallly pre-set to the optimization shown in the video (except if there are multiple optimizations presented), but the properties tab (position sizing) never, that's where the difference probably will be.
