I am a LEGO Technic fanatic which also loves diving and rock climbing. Currently I am working on a life-long project of communicating with dolphins and the like. See the link to my page.
It sure wasn't easy. I've wanted to rebuild from scratch with a better design for some years now, but I'm always out traveling so it's no telling when I'll get around to it
Dude ya should get into 3d printing. Lego is fun, but when you want to do highly intricate and functional things like this, you are going to have far better results with 3d printed stuff. And if you are capable and motivated enough to create *this* out of lego, you would be making fucking T-800 terminators with a 3d printer. Evolve dude! Really cool though :)
@@smokecrackhailsatan I don't see how that could be the case? You can print everything you see in this, only make them longer/bigger/better fitting etc to get a more functional result.
Korean? That accent is far from korean. And why would I think I'm famous? Sariel, akiyuki and others are way more successful and spit out content all the time.
"This just proves that Lego is not suited for stuff like this." l don't mean to insult your building skills but that's not necessarily true. This doesn't strike me as the best way of making a rubiks cube out of Legos. But that's not to say I could do better, either. I just think maybe better ways exist of accomplishing this task with Legos?
You are completely right, and a new revision of cube has been on my mind for a very long time now, I just haven't had my LEGO available to me for like a full year. There are many new Technic parts that I think would prove very useful in this application that didn't exist at the time of building.
