pretty horrible edit. Lets show the departure 5 million times and then use cuts so you about just cant see the entire segment. You have the footage to do better. this doesnt do it justice.
I only waited in the main queue once (I fast tracked the other) and I was trying to get as many photos and clips as possible. I was mainly just taking photos. I added multiple clips of the dispatch sequence to show people’s interactions with queue line. Every train that went by had everyone on the ride and queue cheering at each other, I wanted to preserve those moments. I was gonna get more footage of the actual ride on the second day and make another edit but… yeah.
Let's not forget this is Thorpe Park's first actually decent looking coaster, and they still managed to fuck it up by making it less than a minute long (excluding the extremely uncomfortable 4mph outerbank and lift hill)
Tbh I think making this coaster any longer would be too much for a lot of the general public. The forces on this thing are insane! Ride To Happiness is quite a short ride too and even I, a hardened coaster enthusiast would say it’d be too much if it were any longer.
Really good recreation. Thorpe Park just released a virtual POV where the lift is cable and the launch doesn't go in trough so only two elements off is pretty damn good
The lift is a chain in real life, Mack don’t provide cable lifts. The ‘launch’ is actually a trim brake so it doesn’t take the final two hills with too much speed. Thanks for the kind words though! :)
Great video. It looks like a great attraction, but it looks like another coaster without theming, landscaping, rockwork etc. Some of the movements look similar (of not a lot slower in the transitions) to Taron (Phantasialand), but without any of the theming. I wish they'd spend money on this too. I'm sure it'll ride nicely...
I was sad at first because I was hoping out for a b&m hyper or more camel backed, purely airtime focussed layout but I'm really excited about this coaster now. Great job on making the sim.
100% - we really do have such a depressing ride selection here. Merlin are completely clueless and need to get some inspiration from parks who have kept annual attendance on an upwards trend (excluding pandemic years)
@@Wdast But this ride is still pretty short. It will be a great coaster, that's for sure, but there could have been an element or two added to that layout.
Is the support structure accurate to the plans or is it just a rough interpretation? On another note, I hope Thorpe run this coaster on 3 trains, making use of a variable speed lift hill. The brake run is long enough to hold 2 trains so it could theoretically work with the same block setup as Wicker Man.
The supports are accurate to the plans, however Mack have been know to alter and add support structures after revealing their layouts. For example: Icon’s weird Immelmann support wasn’t on the original simulation and wasn’t shown on the plans that were sold framed by the park. I’ve tested 3 trains since uploading the POV and it’ll definitely work, although the plans only show 2 on the circuit.
This is incredible and probably the best pre-creation I've seen layout wise, although it does seem to run a bit fast in the immelmann and the outerbank after the splashdown.
The forces are completely safe surprisingly. The Immelmann will definitely be taken at that speed as It’s the correct height, but the outerbank might be off slightly as I’m unsure how much speed it’ll lose on the trim.
@@crashcoaster3852 I already altered the friction so it took the giant outerbank with less speed. The largest amount of laterals are actually at the bottom of the drop. It's nothing overly ridiculous but it'll be very thrilling!
A bit weird for a chessington coaster to have an inversion but it dosent look intense. Family thrill would be perfect for chessington and this coaster would be the right one to start there bigger coaster lineup
Really thought they'd be doing something else with this element...do we think the scaffold is for them to cover with rockwork? I was hoping for a screen of some description!
EDUCATE, DON'T TOLERATE Does Glenn COOMBER of BRIGHTON still work at pleasure beach as a registered gas man? Terence COOMBER, of BRIGHTON, was in prison for 3 years and 2 months for having 6,600 images of children being abused with 1,500 images of young children being raped. Andrew COOMBER, of BRIGHTON, was arrested for arranging to meet another 12-year-old girl with the attention of raping her. I'm sure that BRIGHTONS, Glen COOMBER now of 78 BOSTONWAY BLACKPOOL LANCASHIRE FY4 4YB is completely innocent as he still works at BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH and would not be involved with anyone from the same town, BRIGHTON, the same surname, COOMBER, looking the exact same as ANDREW COOMBER, of being a paedophile. I am sure that Glen COOMBER of BRIGHTON would not be the same as Terence or Andrew COOMBER, from BRIGHTON, after moving from BRIGHTON to 78 BOSTONWAY BLACKPOOL LANCASHIRE FY4 4YB, to getting a job at Blackpool Pleasure Beach to protect the young girls from Andrew and Terence Coomber and other convicted pedophiles. If you see Andrew or Terence COOMBER attending the Blackpool Pleasure beach or one of its shows please supervise your children as ANDREW or TERENCE COOMBER might have easy access to the Pleasure Beach due to any possible connection to Glenn COOMBER of BRIGHTON who I'm sure remains completely innocent of any acts of pedophilia especially whilst working as a gas man at BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH. Many thanks. EDUCATE, DON'T TOLERATE
