Hey guys sorry for not replying to anyone. Just saw this last message form James Smith now. Truth is I have not done anything with this piece of equipment. I ordered it a long time ago and waited for ages to get it..... When I finally got it I could not be bothered to even test it as I honestly did not understand how to the. The instructions were not very clear. I kinda felt they should have provided us with a step by step tutorial. I have become very lazy in this digital age and do not have the patience to sit and teach myself how to use something that in all honesty should be bought only by 'extreme sports dudes". I edit on premiere and warp stabilize alot of my shots. Steadxp does not stabilize your hand. It does exactly what "warp stabilizer" does in premiere, I think. To have to use another programme while doing my post production just adds more work and I feel like I don't have time. I would love to hear other peoples opinion on this matter. And if anybody has any cool links to tutorials on the whole product please put them below. Thanks.
While both this and Warp stabilizer crop in on the image in a similar fashion, SteadXP far superior to warp stabilizer because SteadXP is first calibrated to the exact camera & lens combination, and then adds gyroscopic data on top of that. So while Warp Stabilizer will attempt to stabilize footage there are many situations where it will start to wobble and shake in very unnatural ways because it doesn't know anything about what the camera was doing SteadXP on the other hand, once properly calibrated, will be rock solid by comparison.
