Great example of how out of touch with reality the late stage Sears Management was. What a disaster. Cut store payroll to the bone, defund the store upkeep and displays, cut advertising, hire idiot product buyers, and then expect a video like this will lead to Roaring Success. Hard to imagine that human beings could be so incompetently stupid.
I was seriously confused by all of it. We couldn’t get product, we weren’t allowed to change the store displays or be creative at all, they’d even get on us for using too many cleaning supplies and you could get fired for taking too long in the bathroom…but yeah. It was like they wanted to fail. Maybe they did?

i work at sears auto and this is laughable they forgot to add the line of customers stacking up to the door and glaring at you for taking too long and the phone ringing off the hook.
Speak the truth. And you CANNOT forget coupons. Lord the amount of times people showed up and shoved their iphone in my face with a Google image of a 4 year old coupon....or worse. Groupon alignments on almost guaranteed clapped out rust boxes that we had to turn away.
