Yep happens, I seen a few weaker paddlers get dragged over the sharp reef there and all cut up in the short time I was there. I nearly got done over too 😅
This wave sucks it's warpy and hollows out at unpredictable times. Looks good in video but you don't go to indo to surf this type of wave. Only redeeming place is the wave directly out front of town but needs big swell.

Low tide out here gets pretty sketchy, especially with certain swell direction or if you go for the barrel at the top or the one 1/2 way down. Booties are recommended if you don't know the reef or aren't experienced surfing these kinds of setups.
