Love this video, atleast someone is sharing the practical minimal approach. I did overpacked for my first baby as I watched many vloggers definotely full of crap. Keep up the good work !
This is very close to what I have gotten for my 2nd baby. I've got about 8 or 9 sleepers for each age. A couple onsies, and bottoms for each age. A jacket for 0-3 months. 3 beanies, only becaue they came in a pack. Small pack of socks. No shoes. No mittens because I file the nails and it gives them the ability to feel with their hands. A pack of 12 burp clothes. 4 muslim swaddles. 1 sleep sack 0-3 months. I do laundry on the weekends for 1-2 days so it made sense to get at least 7 for each size pjs plus some extra items in case of accidents.
Thank you for sharing your experiences, love your videos. Can you please do a video on what stem cell storage is, did you donate the stem cells to the hospital, explanation on procedure company, pricing etc? Many thanks ❤
Thank you :) I was so lost when it came to buying clothes for my soon to be born baby. I was so anxious when I realized I didn't know how much I had to spend for the first 3 months. Your video is very comforting !
Love your videos, short and to the point. It's nice to see a video with aussie links. I had my baby last October and bought most of my stuff from Amazon, it took a lot of energy from pregnant me 😅
I worked in management here - this place is disgusting and will make you sick The storage area consists of (chilled) a filthy floor that's is black, wet with a sticky animal like fat render approximately 3mm thick in parts ~ if you stand and view the 1200 x 1200 plastic bins of beef products situated in the racking you will note that they're susceptible to leak on the chicken bins below them again 1200 x 1200 plastic bins this then drips on the floor ~ Terribley worrying the produce is consolidated in this room, lettuce cartons are partially exposed and consolidation of pallets had occured in my trial day. So, pallets sat in the liquid on the floor ~ forklift put the pallet on to of the partially exposed produce prior to placing in the racking without a partition between the two. I did feel really bad for this busines and would have liked to really turn it around for them, given I have adequate food safety knowledge, experience and certified training, however, whom ever is facilitating staff recruitment seem set in their way.
Omg this sounds terrible. I had no idea that the working conditions would be like that. Thanks for the comment. It should allow others to read and be aware of this.
Don't buy it! So many of the meals arrive damaged, literally slits cut in the lids, with the sauce flowing out and through the box. And even if you send them photos, you won't get a refund. Worst customer service process ever - you'll be stuck in a 'live chat' for an hour, fighting some idiot who claims they need more and more detail for their 'logistics team' to then allow a refund. I've been a customer of their on and off for years, quitting when the poor quality of the lids (which unstick during delivery, or are so bonded on that they splinter when you try to open them) and blandness of the food becomes intolerable, then coming back when competitors shut down (RIP Lean Eats, you were the BEST). But after the fights for some semblance of service over the past two weeks, I'm NEVER coming back.
I used to love to dream swaddle on my first newborn. He kept knocking his dummy out in his sleep, then of course he’d wake up. Not ideal when your sleep deprived haha
I've learned that if you push a little harder and leave it for a couple of seconds before lifting the stamp off the fabric. I got one with our last name on it. That way, all of our stuff is tagged. 😊
Hey Mishy thanks for this video. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I don’t know much about things. It is good to have Aussies on RU-vid so we can find and buy things easily. Please share Amazon links as well.
Wouldn't it work better if you used a hard surface as a base for stamping, instead of the sort of cushion you see in the video? Also, it's been 8 months since you posted the video. What is your opinion on the stamps after this time? TIA
haha omg i agree with you, i was stamping, and i realised i needed a hard surface after recording haha silly me. But yeah, i still use the stamp - pretty much every time i buy my toddler new clothes for daycare. REVIEW: since i wash her clothes everyday, it does fade after a few weeks. But her name still remains on the item. Its really good and so worth getting. Daycare has never lost her items coz i stamp everything.
That is a good question. The bottom seems a bit weak right. I recommend those nappy bags that hang on the handle. Plus wear a backpack for lighter items. I'm converting it to a double now as I am expecting.
