This is an early car visually updated. The giveaway signs are, 1. The lack of side skirts. 2. The lack of push button fuel flaps. These are the earlier hand open ones. 3. The older A/C control panel. It was updated in 1983 to an improved push button unit. Without seeing the engine and the size of the carburettors, you cannot even verify it's a Vantage.
Thank you Victor, well spotted, but if you read the specifaction it would ahave saved you all that time. It's a real special: www.classicmobilia.com/showroom/16196586-aston-martin-v8-vantage-volante-convertible/
I have memorabilia for this car. Original photos with Healey and the car as well as original correspondence between Healey and Gary Kohs. This provenance is worth saving and passing on to the owner of this car.
And that just shows the difference between you, and some one with taste. Turn up in a Mustang, and you arrive like a red neck in a Ford. Turn up in one of these, and it's a hand built, hyper luxury statement of quality. Lmao.
Fantastic clip of a beautiful pristine V8 Vantage Volante, but it would have been even better to have listened to the burble and growl of that 5.3 litre V8, instead of the crunching of gravel under foot.😉
The quietest car in the world it was, I’ve got a 4.2 unrestored they are still trying to catch up truly the best saloon in the world, No wonder they had a three year waiting list six weeks after it was introduced ?
