I've checked out pretty much all of your xenomorph videos and they are amazing! I was wondering if there was anywhere I could find this model so I could practice animating it myself for some RPG/Short Film ideas I have
A good place to begin your search is SourceFilmMaker on Steam. You can find a lot of Alien models and other models there, which you can port over to Blender if you so desire. If you can't access SFM then you can grab the isolation model for Blender here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/16HTkpXh28aDt960EoAFGUMpXiFmn3dyi?usp=drive_link
Yoyo my good sir is there any chance this can be added into after effects cs4 hahaha (I know I know ancient tech but it's all I've got haha) an just use tha puppet tool to keyframe model frame by frame
Yo it's Twix from the Alien vids, Can I have the alien Animations for series I plan on making? You don't have to, But I'm just saying. The Series is Alien Isolation but I choose how the story goes or whatever, and the alien is going to appear in the end of the first video, Alien Hunts ripely for all of the second EP but is "Supposed" to be ejected into space for like 5 EPS. idk haven't planed that far ahead,
I am going to respectfully decline giving you the animations. I want to keep my original works exclusively to myself at this point in time, but I'd be open to collaboration in the future once I'm finished with school.
I got that from the game Aliens: Fireteam Elite. If you'd like to get them, you can find the models in the Source Filmmaker Workshop, and if you're using Blender there's an addon that will allow you to import the models directly into Blender. If you have any issues with this just leave me another comment and I can help you get them!
This is good! I think if you're looking for a challenge, have another 'patrol route' video, from an alien perspective, where it wall crawls and observes the area it's patrolling from the floor, the walls, and ceiling.
I like the Hive's appearance. It's a good mix. If you haven't, I recommend looking at playthroughs of AvP2, the 2013 AVP, and more recent games (like as you mentioned Fireteam Elite) to get more Hive-vibe. Atmosphere is a huge part of shorts. You did well.
Thank you, and no I did not make the model, it is from Dead by Daylight and the rights to it belong to BEhavior. And here's the link to the Isolation model: drive.google.com/drive/folders/16HTkpXh28aDt960EoAFGUMpXiFmn3dyi?usp=sharing
Unless you're already working on one this can be an idea "Xenomorph killing, entering vent, (Dark Descent/Alien isolation style)" for the killing maybe like idk a person being slaked by the alien or token into a vent idk.
This is a good idea. I have a few more basic animations lined up but after I do those I'll be starting more cinematic stuff, and I think I do this idea first.
@@Dominik_SFM I don't have a model of Ripley on hand so I may end up just doing a marine but yeah, I'll be doing all sorts of stuff. I'm hoping to reach a full cinematic level of animation within a year or two, and I know that's a long time but I'm trying not to rush.
Love it! Btw In blender when making an animation and I move bones for some reason they start moving at the very beginning of the scene so can you help?
I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but I've had issues like that in the past. The things I do to solve bones moving early is by making sure every bone has a keyframe on frame 0, and if I don't want it to move until much later I duplicate that keyframe and move it to a later time until I want the bone to move. I also always insert keyframs with location, rotation, and scale data, which you can do my pressing i and selecting the data you want to keyframe.
Once again you have done really well! I would agree with you on that the second one looks off. I think it looks off because the arms curve too perfectly and syncs too much with the spine. The weight also looks off as it immediately starts putting its arms back down without slowing down much. Overall, I think mainly the timing just needs adjusting on certain parts and it would look better.
Amazing work once again! My only feedback for this is that you could move the arms and chest more to help it look less stiff. That, and the tail looks a little off, as in it looks like its more being moved and controlled from the center of the tail rather than where it starts; at the pelvis. But other than that it looks really good!
Thanks for the feedback! I agree I need to work on the tail, although animating it from the middle was partly intentional since Xenomorphs can move their tails like tentacles. As for the stiff upper half of the body, that was fully intentional, as I wanted it to look inorganic. Less like a creature out for a stroll, and more like a predator stalking it's prey.
@@blackdragonproductions121 1. Hiw to get a Xenomorph model or make a model, 2. How to make animation 3. How to make the tail have ragdoll/simulation physics.
@@Dominik_SFM 1. Here's the Blender file for the Alien Isolation model, with a basic rig drive.google.com/file/d/1N5w8ah3IQgkbXBYK_t9QvwWN0RjDuY_L/view?usp=sharing 2. There's lots of tutorial for Blender animation on RU-vid, take a look around see what you like best 3. The tail can be given simulation physics using bones constraints, once again you can find out how to do that through RU-vid tutorials
Now everything is bright to me now I finally discovered it I am a Xeno (Like bruh i thouht i was the one that actually danced sometimes like this for n reason)
Here's a download for the model I used (Adapted Alien Isolation model) everyone is welcome to have it. Credits for the parts in the model go to Alien Isolation, Aliens Fireteam Elite, and myself for the rig. drive.google.com/file/d/1VnFtv5XQ8M4HVYqzTXEVTPaddvZogymz/view?usp=sharing

does this alien isolation model have the skill with it as well?? if so could I mabye as well have it im looking for the version with the skull for ages now and great animation
It doesn't have the original skull, I looked for that forever too, but I used the skull from the Aliens Fireteam model and adapted it to fit inside the Isolation model. I'm currently making adjustments to the model while I work on improving my animating skills, but if you can wait a little bit for me to finish I'd be happy to give you the adapted model.
