@wallstars4lyfe tomatoes and peas right now, transitioning to a fall garden. I have started beans, chard, cabbage, Spinach, lettuce, cucumbers; just waiting for them to mature a little more.
Can the truth change? Is there salvation outside the faith? Can Catholics pray and worship with and in the manner of non-Catholics? Do those who publicly practice false religions have a "right" to not be disturbed? Should the church change to conform to society rather than the church pushing to change society? I ask these questions as a simple, ignorant peasant. I read a catachism from before 1960 and every sentence makes sense. I read the full big yellow book of vatican 2 documents and it confuses me. I don't have great answers to these. I'm not in schism. I just wish it was more clear.
@@douglasvantassel8098 to the first question, I would ask what truth. I would also comment if the truth changed then we have apostasized and the promise of Mt 16:16-18 was not a promise...which would make Jesus a liar To the second question I would say Jesus' mercy is not confined within the Church...Lumen gentium says that non Christians are not saved by their own false religions but rather through the Catholic Church To your third question...Jimmy akin would be the better consultant. I would just say our worship is primarily the holy sacrifice of the Mass, adoration and Liturgy of the Hours...that is our only form of acceptable worship. Non Christians are permitted to attend obviously...in acts 10 the Holy Spirit fell upon those non baptized...therefore indicating the Holy Spirit is not confined to the visible structure of the Church. Your fourth question about "proselytism" or religious freedom means that religious assent to the faith must be a free choice. No one can be forced to be Catholic.... Thank you Doug for good questions
