Are males more affected or male-female equally affected? You can infer autosomal vs X linked recessive trait based on that. Here its the latter. So autosomal most likely.
Thanks for pointing out, before considering the ring junction getting the highest number we need to fix the numbering of the first nitrogen atom. Nitrogen closer to the ring junction should be numbered lowest, then number in the direction such that the ring junction gets the highest numbers.
