Love this game and the ending so much but I gotta be honest it didn’t do the best job at conveying Aerith was dead at least to me maybe I’m just dumb 😂 obviously I realized but it looking like cloud saved her all the way to the end where she helps fight Sephiroth…yeah I I thought she was very much still alive this whole time until I realized everyone else clearly saw her die. I’m actually playing OG right now for the first time to see how it’s different so ye but as a first time player in rebirth yeah it was hard to tell If she even died or not lmao. Super excited for part 3
Ok first of all, I wanted to thank you especially for watching this whole thing through. I really appreciate it cuz you commented on so many of the episodes, and that doesn't happen a lot when I do these playthroughs haha Secondly, IKR! And it's possible that the vagueness of her death is what the devs want us thinking about going into the 3rd game. I remember playing the OG and trying to find any possible means of getting aerith back in the party, but unfortunately, absent any glitches, that just isn't possible. I'm sure the devs are fully aware of Aerith's popularity and importance, so its definitely not outside the realm of possibility of her coming back tangibly. Speculation is fun. Also, enjoy the heck out of the OG 7. I love the remakes, but the OG is so special to me that I'm confident the remakes won't ever surpass them in my heart 😅

I hated the 3D showdown at the end lmao. The coliseum match sucked don't get me wrong, but I enjoy fighting so that at least tempered the frustration I had. The 3D fight had no redeeming quality for me and was just all around awful lmao 😂
This video helped me so much, in a psychological way. I already knew the crater trick but wanted to search more tips and stumbled upon this video. I then tried this exact method (crater trick, no audio, set a timer and dont count), and got it first try! I've set a 20 min timer and did 30 more dodges just to be safe, and in the end i got 297 dodges! :D
Tip ...1 of my playthrus i got the 0.00 time on my 1st try didn't get the sigil,got the shitty 1st prize instead,had to do it again.On 1 playthru i got the sigil but the guy at the cliff didn't move.Had to beat it again .....Arrrrrrrghhhh! Tidus CW aquirement is kinda not explained properly,thnk god i actually like the chcobo races.
I completely understand your worries about this part bro you just wanted to get your favorite character and I think you’ve made it very clear through the game you have nothing against Aerith so yeah don’t sweat it lmao. I was the same though bro I was so worried i wouldn’t get my favorite character (Yuffie) but just like you I ended up being just fine so yeah happy we both got our outcomes though I didn’t restart any chapters though I was already fine 😅
Turned out I didn't need to replay the nibelheim section. I just needed to do one more tifa focused sidequest to get her. I just didn't realize it till after spending 4 hours replaying the section lmao 🤣
I've never done this but always wanted to ask: -you dodge 200 -you get hit by lightning on the way to chest ? Does that reset the counter / do you have to dodge on the way back ?
@@danielfabian2545 it should be fine. But also the type of TV you use may affect the input delay. Although most modern monitors/TVs today dont really have that problem anymore.
I actually personally really liked watching your world intel grinds but yeah I can understand you wanna keep things moving for us. The main playthroughs coming to a close can’t believe it’s already almost done 🥲

Oh EASILY fort condor was so much worse. My experience with gears and gambits comes up in a few episodes, and i complain a lot less about it 😂. I think its cuz the gambits remind me of FFXII which i actually had a blast playing through, so it didnt feel as bad. Plus you can have the game set your gambits for you, and boy does that make stuff a lot easier. That being said, both are such a hassle, and 10/10 would not wanna do it again under normal circumstances lmao
@@UG_Commentaryhonestly yeah your right fort condors WAY worse and you know what I give more points to gears and gambits because the storyline was actually worth it for the cool backstory stuff with the other avalanche members it was way worth it! Oh and when it comes to not doing them again hehe ummmm I think we might have to do them both on hard if we want 100% 🙂 yay
I actually LIKED playing blitzball in this game. After getting a few key players and passing the ball to Tidus ALOT, he becomes very powerful and pretty unstoppable. I send Tidus and the mid 3 in, pass to a good passer in the back, when Tidus gets to goal, pass to him, jecht shot and GOOOOOOOAL! Rinse and repeat
completely off topic from the video but just wanna say i cant wait till you do the gilgamesh island protorelic because i just wanna see how the hell you do it. i havent done it yet but will eventually once i seen it was two summons i was like nope dont need this right now and didnt even try😂
Lulu’s, Kimahri’s and Tidus’ celestial weapons are too much for me to handle 😂 never got Lulu’s or Kimahri’s ever. Got Tidus’ once in a playthrough and told myself NEVER again 😂
A couple slight improvements to this strategy: 1. Equip Auto-Protect Auto-Potion Auto-Phoenix with Wakka/Tidus 2. Bribe Valaha for X-Potions so you heal for 9999 on each hydraulic press 3. Use Blitz Ace instead of Slice and Dice for more damage regardless of if you hit the perfect overdrive You can cut down on time but not having to heal between rounds, just every third round kill the dingo 👊
Idk. Slice and dice is still the better overdrive, imo. It's consistently a 480-500k damage overdrive, whereas blitz ace only does more damage if that last hit is successful.
I think I eventually swapped it out, but I didn't know that's how the earings worked. I always thought it meant that equipping it would allow you to use the materia in its maxed out level. Like you still had to use to equip the materia, and not only equip just the earrings hahaha
It's actually a really fun fight! As for the top secret stuff, haven't gotten around to it yet. I might make a video about it, but most likely not a let's play type

I'm sure there is a learning curve to using effectively, but I guess I couldn't be bothered lol Who knows, maybe I'll try him out when I run through the game on Hard Mode?

I played FFX back in 2001 and got Yuna, Rikku, Auron, and Kimahri’s CWs (with a bit of struggling on butterflies but otherwise easy.) I TRIED the whole chocobo thing but hours later i was just frustrated beyond belief! Same with lightning dodging, and I didn’t even try Wakka 😹😹😅 I have never gotten those three’s CW. And I don’t think I ever will. Games are supposed to be enjoyable and I refuse to do unpleasant grueling tasks for hours and hours. I’m playing on the Switch now, trying to gear up for Dark Aeons for the first time (as I only played an original PS2 copy ever) and I only got Yuna, Auron and Rikki’s CW! They are my dream team and are currently stat maxing in the Monster Arena. I might give them each of their minigames another attempt but it’s just so miserable!
