Hey everyone! Just an FYI, my entire Japan trip I live by myself in my own hotel room and did ALMOST everything solo - this is the only vlog in my 3-part solo series where you’ll see me meet up with my friend who happened to be in Tokyo at the same time as me a few times 💓
Ahh thank you for this video! I said this on another video but I’m going to Japan with my cousin in September and we’re really going hard with preparing so this was so helpful! One thing we’re stuck on is the phone situation (sim/pocket wifi/coverage etc)!
@@Taylor.Nicole should definitely get an esim if your phone allows! definitely the easiest option and works very well. no need for carrying a pocket wifi around and taking up space in a bag 💪 I used Ubigi during my trip
Interesting tips. I've traveled mainland twice (4 times Okinawa, then went flew to Tokyo 2 of those times). My flights usually took me to Haneda, so the closest station was Shinegawa and I went from there. I avoided staying in the big cities, I don't mind the commutes and I don't plan staying until 12am and risk missing my train. In Osaka/Kyoto region, I found Himeji was cheapest. In Tokyo area, I stayed in Yokohama. And yeah, tourist hot spots you need to go super early if possible, to avoid the tour buses. If you like monkey parks, check out Nagano and the one in Beppu on future trips.
I recently subbed a few days ago, your videos are great! You're super nice and pretty :). Love how your trying to help others! Also your editing skills are so good, better than most youtubers I've watched! Keep doing what you're doing, your amazing!
All great questions! 1. Train lines are quite easy to follow in my opinion using Google maps! The station numbers and colours you see inside the actual stations match up with what you see on Google maps, so it’s very intuitive. 2. I didn’t buy a JR pass because it wasn’t worth it 😭 search up “JR Pass calculator” on Google to see if the trips you plan to take will make the pass worth it for you. 3. E-sim! I used Ubigi as I found it slightly cheaper than some of the other options available out there. Airalo is another popular option but it’s about the same in connectivity quality for a more expensive price
I'm going to Japan in November and I invested in 2 NB sneakers (the 2002NR's and the 530) to break them in before my trip and they are the most comfy and cushiony shoes to wear in Japan.
Couldn’t find you on other socials so I’ll just leave a comment here but just wanted to let you know that these vlogs are so comforting to watch. Going on a solo trip to Japan for the first time next month and I’m a bit nervous but seeing your vlogs makes me a lot more confident. Thanks so much 🫶
@@koen17 Thank you so much for the nice comment! I really appreciate it and I’m so glad you felt that way watching my vlogs 🤍 I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful trip! Just have fun 😁
really cool vlog!! I did a solo trip last May to Japan and these vlogs are bringing back all the memories omg. the tim hortons watter bottle was very relatable lol
I recently discovered your RU-vid channel after watching your Tokyo vlog. Happy to see this one from Osaka! I enjoy them sooo much!! and it lowkey makes me miss Japan even more :') Looking forward to more!
Hiii ❤🥹love your video!! I have a random question, how were u able to use Fujii Kaze music for your RU-vid video? Did you have to pay royalties to use it?
@@user-ug8rj9uq7c Hii I simply just don’t monetize from this video since I used their music! RU-vid doesn’t copyright strike certain songs out there, so I just use it because I like using good music in my videos 💗
