Love y’all & ofcourse Mina is my Spirit Animal. Well not “my” just really love the thick mix here. Thank you so much for being a beacon of common sense clarity & thanks to the incredible band & family that has been with you. Y’all sound so good here Gratitude
For everyone asking, "Where's Shane?" Shane was on tour with Brujeria at the time. Shane would make more money by far on a Brujeria tour than he would on a one-off festival appearance with Napalm Death. Also, I'm pretty sure the Brujeria tour was booked before this show was booked. That happens all the time with musicians who are involved in more than one band, like Shane. So, in a case like this, Napalm Death gets one of their friends to cover bass for the festival appearance. When it comes to full tours and what band he chooses, Napalm Death is always the main band he tours with. A few years back, Napalm Death and Lock Up were scheduled to tour (not together), and Shane obviously toured with Napalm Death. Danny Lilker covered the bass for Lock Up on that tour. This kind of shit happens all the time.
Just revisited these guys since my high-school metal exploration phase and man I'm glad I caught them. They sound incredible live. They're the only ones who can do this type of extreme metal imo
Dear Barney, i was headbanging on stage with you at Montpellier (90s) , a punk slammed and died cuz no one was there, i carried him to health who were in charge ...fricking memory ! long live the Napalm !
Thank you very, very much for sharing ! The most powerful interpretation of this song, almost unbelievable. I think there are two voices here, Myrkur and Maja Shining sharing the introductory vocal together. Truly awesome !
GREAT Post!!!! Also a few more songs in this clip...."Revolution/Revelation"/"New orleans Is The New Vietnam"/"Methamphetamine"/"Peace Thru War (Thru Peace And War"/"Run It Into the Ground"(short version)/ "Every Thing Every Day"(beginning and then cuts off)
