I wish I would have seen your video 6months earlier... it would have saved so much hustle... I have the same issue with my fx3 and the DJI mic 1st version... tried it with 4 different cables, but still heard the low frequency buzzing/static noise... at one point my dji mic even picked up some radio station and I legit heard a channel talking about politics, I was like is this even real? like how? but this clips are everything... DJI customer support answer was that newer cameras like the FX3 is more sensitive for low frequencies or tried to change the cable...
I wonder why not very review of the pocket 3’s has the same the video quality . I saw others using the same pocket 3 with very poor video quality output
Loved the review! I'm thinking about getting the same one for a while now, I feel like it would give me a boost to start vlogging. I still get embarrassed recording with my phone, this camera seems more discreet to me at least from an outside point of view.
Hey thanks so much! Honestly it’s a really cool camera and I think it’d be perfect for vlogging! I totally understand haha, filming in public can be a bit nerve wracking but the more you do it the more normal it’ll start to feel 👌
Costco currently has a bundle with the mini tripod and battery grip for $499 if ya’ll are interested! www.costco.com/dji-osmo-pocket-3-gimbal-camera-bundle.product.4000293903.html
Very useful video! Watching you put the transmitter on your chest, I instantly thought about the Mike Bone roast. It's nice that you gave him a shoutout. I usually use a shotgun mic on top of my camera, but I like the WirelessGo for interviews or discussions away from the camera.
Hey thanks for watching! Haha yep, I learned a ton from his videos and had to toss that in! Nice, I think it’s always helpful to have both mics to be ready for any situation!
Great video and I’m happy you prioritized your health and happiness above all! It’s priceless and I did the same years ago! The FX3 or the FX30 are one of my next workhorse cams!
great video, i came across this while looking for videos on the manfrotto 819-1 small hydrostatic arm. didn't find much, but if you're ever able to - i'd love to see how they're used and just a detailed video about them. also i enjoy your content on the moment page! great to see you have your own thing going on.
Hey thanks so much for watching! I don’t currently own one but if I ever pick one up I’ll be sure to make a video about it :) Hey thanks!! I recently left Moment so I’ll have a lot more content on this page going forward!
Great question! So personally I would definitely recommend the fx30 over the bmpcc4k for most types of video :) I love the pocket 4k and I think it’s great if you want prores and raw files, however what I love about the sony fx3 / fx30 is you can use it for literally everything (filmmaking, client projects, youtube, vlogging, etc). It’s has amazing image quality but still has the convenient features of mirrorless cameras (autofocus, small files, ibis, etc)! And since it had an apsc sensor lenses will be cheaper and smaller than full frame fx3 lenses :)
Nisi are about to release a new magnetic filter system on October 10. I believe it will replace their Swift suction system that no one particularly liked. From their instagram teaser, the new system looks very sleek, is much thinner than the Swift system, is magnetic but includes some kind of locking mechanism, and is combines a lot of features in a single system (not quite sure what that means). Worth waiting a few days for the release.
@@victor.melchorfilm You should ask for a review copy. The english reviews have not been that great so far and missed a lot of info like the fact that NiSi have a roadmap for JetMag that includes a square filter adaptor (next item on roadmap), VND (early 2025), and other filter types.
Still rocking my Pocket 4K with a speedbooster. I'm going for the Ursa Broadcast G2 next because of the built in NDs and an easier camera to have on the shoulder.
Of course! I export from DaVinci Resolve Studio here are my settings: Format: Quicktime Codec: h.265 frame rate: 23.976 quality: 12000 kb/s encoding profile: main10 multi pass encode on data levels: full force sizing to highest quality force debayer to highest quality Also super important if you're editing on a Mac device 1. go to project settings 2. click the color management tab 3. change Color Science DaVinci yrgb 4. change timeline to rec-709A 5. save settings hopefully this helps!
Thanks so much Daniel!! Each shot had a slightly different setting, but some of my go to’s are: Film Stock - Portra 400/160VC Film Print - Kodak 2383 or Fujifilm 3513 Would you be interested if I made a new dehancer tutorial?
Ideal video for me. Have the wireless go II and looking at the NTG. I am trying to find a mic to isolate a lot of background noise when at a gaming convention and try focus the audio of anyone on stage. But difficult to tell. Linking the NTG with the Wireless Go II might be the solution!
Happy to help! Yeah that could be a great solution since the ntg gives a much more directional audio! That and possibly running it through adobe enhance speech and you should be good✅
Been researching this for a bit, and for the love of me could not understand how these are done since no magic arm is visible. THEY WERE HIDING IT. Thanks for solving the mistery!
Hey I’m happy to help! I’ve seen some people photoshop each individual frame and I have tried that but its much more of a pain than simply hiding the magic arm haha!
Thank you. Option 1 reduced the noise alot on my Wireless GO II + Sony Alpha 6400. But now I cant speak so loud using the microphones because I dont want my recording to clip. 😑
@@AbbaokGaming Of course I’m happy to help! One possible way to fix that is to set your wireless go II to have a safety track that’s -20db so if you do clip you can use the lower db track :)
“Really cool” “really love” “really like” the bag, tripod and filters that are sponsored gear, cmon man… Check out the XTAR SN4 which can charge your camera and not batteries at the same time from usb c
Actually I’ve been using Freewell and Brevite for years now. They decided to send me some new gear and I actually do really love and use the gear. And yes the tripod is amazing, I still stand by that. It’s been my everyday carry for a while now and will be making a full review
You sound like a little crybaby. Maybe actually make content instead of crying about the gear someone else uses. Should focus more on making your shitty content better, rather than crying bc someone has sponsors. Sorry excuse of a man.
