u can always try to embellish words, making excuses or seeing for other point of view to justify past actions but the true is ... senna put in danger lifes in all of his career with no regards to others ... multiple times with several pilots. pb back then was directors who didnt want to penalize senna who was a big asset of revenue to F1 at the time- Period.. could be the best pilot in rain conditions but PROST was always the faster on clean track
2 little questions: year 1975. The Winner Had turned 300 laps, not 348. This means 4249,27 kms for a circuit with 14,120 kms a lap. Is It right? 2) year 1990. The winner turned 467 or 468 laps? Thanks from Spain for the vídeo.
Thank you for watching the Video and checking the stats so closely. In 1975 you are absolutely right. Mistake on my part. They turned 300 laps and not 348. For 1990 i am honestly nut sure. I've read 467 and 468 laps on different sides. So I am not quite sure what the right number of laps was.
Both great drivers!!! But Prost was the most complete driver known as the professor and Senna was the quickest who deliberately drove Prost out in Japan.
I guess the fastest of all these was the Audi R15+ TDI in 2010. It covered the longest race distance of 5410.713 km (397 laps), average race speed of 225.228 km/h. The average for Kobayashi on his 2017 track record lap of 3:14.791 was 251.881 km/h (Toyota TS050). Note that the Porsche 917K also did 397 laps back in 1971, albeit without the chicanes on the straight. Still holds the lap record for the old layout.
But the real hero in this race was Stefan Bellof! He started at the last position because he had a weak naturally aspired car unlike all other turbocar competitors and qualified on dry track at the last position but showed his skills in wet condition as he get from last position to 3rd position until the race was canceled!
Hey, thanks for watching the Video. I'm happy that you liked the Soundtrack that i put together for this project. Many songs in this video were included in my Video Program Power Director. That's why it is hard to find them anywhere on RU-vid i guess. I will look what i can't find and make a playlist for the Soundtrack on my channel in the next few days.
Prost developed such an aversion to Senna, he put in his contract thst he did not want Senna as team mate. Yet: at Senna's funeral, Prost was one of the pall bearers. Sport is a beautiful thing.
Thank you for watching the Video. Great that you enjoyed the music. I've made a playlist for the Soundtrack and uploaded the songs that i couldn't find on youtube. Feel free to check them out. ru-vid.com/group/PLe7kF47PGYcEYdgYdV9iFLKdlmYW3bY9Q
3 hours of great memories, Senna 4ever, but Prost was also a great great driver, great period, with a tragic end, but Senna is in my heart and everybodies heart💖
Great and definitive video about these two! Would you have the complete track list? Lots of great songs also used! Tryed to discover trough some apps but unsucessful due to the narration on the background...
Thank you so much for watching the Video ! I've put together the Soundtrack for the Movie and uploaded many songs that i couldn't find on youtube. Feel free to check them out. ru-vid.com/group/PLe7kF47PGYcEYdgYdV9iFLKdlmYW3bY9Q
You realise senna still needed to win in Australia. And senna crashed into Brundle in the rain at Adelaide. Senna dive bombed Prost in 89 and even senna never blamed Prost. How’s this. In 88 and 89, Prost out scored senna both years. He only lost in 88 due to the ridiculous top 11 results rule. The top 11 results rule ended in 1991 and I’m yet to hear a driver ask for the top 11 results rule to be reinstated in nearly 35 years! And remember this, senna stopped a number of wet races. I remember he stopped a very wet Australian gp. If today’s points were used in the last 40 years, Prost would be a 7 times world champion and senna would be a one time world champion.
When i hear Senna talk,i hear Max talk, same attitude, same level, just pure racing, not going for second or third. Senna was ruthless, same as Max.But Prost was one of my heroes as well back then. These two were so good, pure racers.
Fantastic documentary. Adelaide 86 was the first race I watched in its entirety. Just an incredible time in formula 1. Does anyone know name of the artist and music @41:19?
Thank you for watching the Video Here is a link from the Song The Artist goes by the Name of D.Higgs ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MDTNxuwEApg.html&pp=ygUSZC5oaWdncyBncmVlbmxpZ2h0
@@kevinprengemann7456 so if you think there was a conspiracy against senna by Balestre to help Prost win in 89’ why didn’t balestre DQ senna for ramming Prost off at turn 1 Suzuka 90’ at 180mph with the entire grid behind them??? Re read my original comment. In the 89’ championship season, senna needed to win both races at Suzuka and Australia. And you know what happened to senna at the Adelaide gp in the torrential rain 1990? He didn’t see Brundle in the rain and crashed. Either way, he was never going to win the 89’ championship. I just want to repeat this very important point again. Senna maintained over and over every time he was asked if Prost deliberately drove into senna at the chicane at Suzuka 1990. He said that Prost didn’t deliberately drive into senna and the accident at Suzuka 1990 was e racing incident. I find it hilarious that every senna fanboy argument that Prost drove into senna at the chicane, Suzuka 1990 all say Prost did it on purpose. But the driver who was in that racing incident never ever said that Prost was to blame.
Late 80's to early 90's was the golden era of F1. The cars looked and sounded awesome, the drivers were brave and charismatic. So much better than the dull F1 we have today.
