Shit I used to have those way back when when I worked at a newspaper company. I lost them when my storage unit got seized. Wish i could've kept them...
I honestly had to watch this three times to figure out what my opinion was and I’m not gonna lie. It doesn’t make sense to me. but I love your energy so you deserve a sub. ❤
I’m very focused on goals and that can be overwhelming. However, I have 5 small daily goals that I work towards daily. They are easy on a daily basis but accumulate throughout the week. Kinda like a compiling effect. What’s nice about this strategy is that I’m not so hard on myself for missing something that day.
My mom is a certified counselor. She says she will never join better help. They don't actually verify credentials for their therapists and the way they bill and pay their therapists basically turns it into a factory. You gotta see as many clients as possible and that makes it very difficult to personalize or give the necessary attention. Go find a therapist with their own private practice or a different service that doesn't spend so much on advertising.
How is it unethical to tell people about a convenient way to get therapy? We also know there is a very large amount of therapists on there, so even if the content creator used Better Help and said it was good, it doesn't matter, because the experience of any new customer will vary greatly depending on which therapist they get. It's not like food or clothes made by a company that you can try and tell people, hey the quality of what they made is good, I tried it. It's not remotely like that, which is why customers are allowed to change therapists. That part of Better Help is one of its best features
I appreciate you coming out of my channel and expressing your opinion. Do you have any concerns about the mishandling of private health information? Also notoriously underpaying Therapists?
Yes on both points, which I noticed you didn't mention in your short. I watched your short to see what your criticism was and I was surprised that your "beef" was that they allowed creators who haven't used them to promote them. For therapists who don't have training in business skills, making money is gonna be hard. I heard that dental schools include classes that teach them how to run and market their business, but all therapist masters and doctorate programs I've heard of do not include this, just from speaking with my colleagues. Accepting a job that doesn't pay enough is a tough situation to be in, I have compassion for those therapists. But it's not Better Help's job to pay well. As a company, their job is to try to make money in a free market, and pay what the law requires them to pay their contractors. It is not any private company's job to offer high pay, it is the government's job to oversee the economy of any given country or even city and make policies that protect the residents.
Just a quick question, are you a therapist? Just wanting to know? also you are correct. I did not actually fit that into my short, but I will be doing subsequent videos later.
Circa 2019 it came out that Betterhelp was all around horrible and everyone stopped taking sponsors and disavowed them, a rudimentary vetting would've revealed it but clearly none of these youtubers taking sponsorships (some of whom previously disavowed Betterhelp) give a shit that they're directing people to something that preys on vulnerable people and is so low quality it worsens people's mental health. Every time I see a youtuber with the sponsorship it's an instant complete loss of any respect for them, they follow greed over people's well beings
I really appreciate you taking the time to comment on my video. I feel bad because they’re getting sponsored by somebody who has predatory practices and I get that they’re trying to make money, but they should probably vet who their sponsor is and what they’re about.
It won't simply "self destruct", we need to actually do something to actualize the destruction of the system. It's true that the destruction of the system will be made easier as the system deteriorates but we actually need to act to change it as well. Especially if we want a say in what replaces the system. Otherwise it will be replaced by something worse.
So.. you made a video about standing on a step stool not a “ladder.” And some loose boards slid towards your face…. Yeeeah… ok… grow a pair snowflake. Wow!!
Owned one. Did all maintenance ontime. Burned a quart of oil every 200 miles. No longer own one and won’t again 😆 atleast I have adequate power in a Tundra 5.7L V8. Or Tacoma V6. If it burns a tiny bit that’s fine. But my Outback boxer had NO power, failed cat-verter prematurely, and burned more oil than unsold bud light at the corner store. SELL before it hits 150K miles…
Also, the Toyota RAV4 was a close contender, but this is the car that I wanted since it very first came out if it fucks up on me around 150 K then so be it. Appreciate your comment. Most other ass hats in these comments are kind of just one note one tone so I appreciate you taking the time to craft a decent comment.
@@HarmsWayChad 2013 Subaru Outback, 2.5 Limited package. Sure it had nice interior and sunroof and all but it had NO power burned a quart every 200mi at best. Slapping a turbo on isn’t a reliable decision. Why the Ford “EcoBoom” has issues versus their 5L V8. And that 3.5 V6 from Toyota is bulletproof if you take care of it, the 5.7L V8 even moreso. Honda and Toyota both make extremely reliable 4bangers too. You can hammer them without blowing something. Run forever with proper maintenance. After owning a Subie boxer tho, I don’t really want another one. Put hundreds of dollars into the engine and oil problems, still didn’t run right. After 150K miles it starts sinking. I’ll stick with Honda/Toyota for now. They do have their issues but better overall reliability for longterm. That’s what peeps want nowdays. Not all Subie’s are bad, I just wanted something more capable and dependable.
@@HarmsWayChad well not ALL years of Subaru have the oil and head gasket problems it was just the one year I got that had that issue. But if you’re willing to put some money into it it’ll run forever. I just wanted something that requires little to zero maintenance that’s why I went with a Honda 3.5 V6 no VCM 😅 but I still won’t judge somebody based on their car-choice, my buddy has a Subaru and it runs fine. Just NEVER buy an American V8 with cylinder-turnoff, it WILL fail I promise lol. I’m not trying to be judgy I’m just sharing experience brother. Sorry some folks are like that. I drive a 2014 Ridgeline, imagine all the sh💩 I get from the whiny truck fangirls 😂
I’m a 4Runner owner and I wheel off road with a friend who has a wilderness crosstreck and let me tell you how impressed I am and how well he keeps up. And he gets way better mpg I can’t say I’m not a little jelly about that mpg. Great car dude. Haters gonna hate.
@@Chris-lm9wo Well congrats I am very happy for you and your vehicle! You must take really good care of it. To answer your question, this is the car I chose and I am well aware of how long they can last and what proper maintenance looks like. Thanks for looking out though. I wish you and your Nissan another 100k!!!
