Decent lecture, but fuck this dude's NIMBY propaganda bullshit on reducing building dense housing in his neighborhood. He's welcome to support funding affordable starter homes instead if he likes homeownership, but he wouldn't like that either I'm sure.
Got asked the very question. Said Yup!!! Let him/her let me know why from there. Even when asked a second or third time. Fought every ticket I was ever given with the exception of parking tickets. Won some lost some. All were at reviewed with lower fines and/or points waived or dismissed.
Brancusi wasn’t making minimalist work, he was profoundly spiritual. His obsession was essence as a universal interweaving with the cosmos. He would have been appalled by the grandiosity of Koons and the cold emptiness of American minimalism. He equally wasn’t subverting as Duchamp was. Thank you for the video.
I couldn't make it without my local libraries. I've enjoyed 42 books online this year, alone. Libraries enrich our lives, improve our intellect, provide entertainment and alleviate boredom. Thank you libraries, librarians and all those who help to ensure communities continue to have this wonderful resource.👏🤟
I have discovered that all but a few of the "star"-signed reviews in the 1844-46 New York "Tribune" were written by Mathew Franklin Whittier, younger brother of poet John Greenleaf Whittier. In this interview, at around 18:00, Ms. Pataki speaks of Margaret Fuller's relationship with Edgar Allan Poe, and also of her having written about Frederick Douglass. However, the review of Poe's "The Raven and Other Poems," in the Nov. 26, 1845 edition of the "Tribune" was written by Mathew, as was the June 10, 1845 review of "Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave." Mathew, like his brother, was a long-time abolitionist. In fact, his active work for the abolitionist cause was one reason he had to keep an extremely low profile, even when Fuller printed eleven of his pieces as her own, in "Papers on Literature and Art." These are not merely assertions--I have evidence from over a decade of independent research to back them up.
So you are talking about how your first experience voting you do realize that the left is guilty of exactly what you're talking about their slogan is vote blue no matter who the right doesn't have any slogans like that
I agreed with everything up until you started talking about the far-right being neo-nazis I'm pretty sure that the authoritarian left would be more likely to be closer to the Nazi considering Nazis were socialists and that's pretty much the Democratic party is full of socialist marxists and communists who hate America
This has left me with many more questions. Can emotions change a person's mental ability? Does a boy going through puberty go through a temp mind altering, mental disfunction? What are/were the criteria for mental deficiency? Understanding another's manner of thinking is totally up for interpretation. An introvert person can not understand an extrovert. A teenage boy can not understand an old woman going through menopause. But each would call the other "crazy". Both would at moments exhibit psychotic behavior and delusional thinking. While I do believe Elizabeth went through her ordeal. I find myself wanting to believe none of it was done in malace. But a lack of knowledge. A period in time where women were looked down on. Perhaps a male ego issue. Or something other. I would be curious to learn why men of this time period felt justified.
Hello, great video with detailed information.. I was not successful growing tomatoes in grow bags before.. I will try that again.. is there a way you can provide more information on relatively inexpensive grow bag soil or soilless media for growing tomatoes and will it work with the cloth grow bags? The issue with cloth grow bag is the water can seep out from sides as well.. thank you
About 15 years ago, my local nursery had Ananas Noire and Cherokee Purple in the tomato section. I figured what the heck and gave them a try. That has put me down the heirloom tomato rabbit hole and this year I am growing 75+ varieties. I know I have an addiction problem. Can someone please help (;
@@darienlibrary my first love… Ananas Noire is my favorite. I also love Azoychka, Black Prince, Paul Robeson, Cherokee Green, Kellogg’s Breakfast to name a few.
Our womens cycling group on Meet up in St Louis had a book club discussion about your book. It was held at the Butterfly House in Faust Park. Afterwards we walked through the Butterfly House to see the butterflies. This is a great presentation ! 🦋
thank you for this video, because many of the brancusi videos are either not in english and have no english subtitles, and although the speaker is informative, the fact that we could barely see the work is shame.
Love this series. How it touches on so many of his other works. It's not necessary to read them all but it's so good to see how storylines and characters we've met have affected others.
Well the lecture is informative but there is no close shots of the artwork... what is the point of an art video if the artwork is not featured along with the commentary?
Question please. How does anyone know whether ADHD/ADD is genetic?? It might be environment of parent/s with ADHD/ADD that provokes that specific neurological development.
Do you know what seed catalog sells a tomato called"MEAT BREAKFAST", not kellogs breakfast. Meat breakfast is yellow nearly seedless and a very large tomato and best tasting
16:50 I mean...MAYBE ytou can liken the United States vs. the South as being akin to the U.S. vs. Japan. Maybe you can liken it to the U.S. vs. Vietnam, or the Soviet Union vs. Afghanistan (or the U.S. vs. Afghanistan for that matter). The conditions for victory were very much similar to Vietnam. The South was not really trying to conquer the North, but to make the war so costly in blood and treasure that "weak" and "cowardly" northerners would lose the will to fight. Perhaps the real difference is that they were not facing the North. They were facing the North, the border States that remained loyal, the West Virginians who abandoned Virginia, and a slew of Southers who remained in uniform fighting for the Union. And it was the coalition that ultimately won.
At 15:40 he mentions that you: "need some 200 frostless days to really grow cotton." Actually you can grow in as little as 160 days with some of the newer varieties. It can be grown as far north as SE MO and in the southern third of KS.
Thank you for sharing such great entertaining tips. It is so incredibly important to have friends over. It is such a special gift to host and to be a guest, it is both grounding and giving for the giver and receiver.
