A single suggested serving of Tang contains 29 grams (1.0 oz) of sugar (representing 94% of the product's dry weight); 10% RDA of carbohydrates; 100% RDA of vitamin C; 6% RDA of calcium and has a total of approx 120 calories. A gram of sugar is about 4 calories. Calories from sugar are “empty calories” because they do not provide any nutrients. Too much sugar increases the risk of many health problems (weight gain, obesity, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, and tooth decay). I wonder: how many people will drink only one serving each day? I loved the taste as a child but I avoid it now.
So you keep saying that you're heating your house for free. I'm assuming you're using fuel to go pick up all the free wood, electricity or gas to chop up the wood into sawdust and electricity to shred all the paper. Pretty sure it's not free.
Am I missing something? Why not just burn the free wood? I'm having to watch with no sound and with the caption on, so maybe there was an explanation somewhere in the video I didn't catch.
You can do something similar. You don't need a mold. Just roll it up tie, soak in salt water and let it dry. Instant fire log. Do them in the summer months to have for winter.
The handles on these are flimsy and worthless. I took them off. I lay to pieces of 2x4 across the top and then stack garden bricks on them to squeeze out the water. I use a dollar store Turkey baster to suck the water off the top of the bricks when they are forming. I live them in the mold for a few days adding weight as I go. I never have saw dust so I use coffee grounds. The more compressed you get these the longer they burn. I also use a big drill and cement mixer paddle to slurry it up.
The great thing about being frugal is,you realise you don't need much to have a comfortable life. When we accumulate a lot it's nice to share with those who are not able to. Funny seeing this from all those years ago. And here we are, it's about to happen. You are a smart man.

There is no secret to heat, the more watts the more heat. Any 1500 watt heater will give out the exact same amount of heat as any other 1500 watt heater. This one uses very little power because it gives very little heat,
Although I heat my house with deadwood from my own woods, I always have more junk paper and cardboard around than I know what to do with, and rather than tossing it on my compost pile or my burn pile, making bricks like this might be handy. Thank you.
I wish I had a wood fire now because I'd love to give this a go. I recycle a lot so would have plenty of paper. Once you've bought the press it would last year's or like you say make one of your own. I have heard about this form of heating before and its a great money saving way to heat your home. Thank you
A time saver is to take the lid that fit the bucket and put holes in it. Then you can put it back on and then turn it all upside down then the water will leak out leaving just the wet paper mixture to deal with.
Well I was just buying rum all the time and putting it down I was saying for a rainy day now in my country covid hit and Gov ban the selling of rum . I have do lol
Makes sense to buy the cheap crap for SHTF barter liquor....ONLY in glass bottles btw!...people would be so desperate that quality should not make a difference for value. Cheap stuff on sale by the case. Problem for many folks is storage. In addition bulk asprin and ibuprofen and and acetaminophen (lasts for decades!) will be like gold....SALT! SEEDS! Especially seeds that can be both planted AND eaten! (oats wheat barley etc) ....btw I started saving and refilling with H2O ALL glass bottles of any size (ie 1 literally plus) ...I mean clean water bottled in glass? NO expiration is my understanding! As opposed to H2O in plastic being iffy even after one year in hot climate....I consider long term plastic bottled water only good for life and death or bathing etc NOT for non emergency consumption! ....I mean OFCOURSE I WOULD drink the crap rather than dying! But years old water in plastic bottles! YUUCK! How about liquor stored for years in plastic? YUUCK me thinks ....glass man!
