I have one of these modules in my 2001 Viggen with original sound system. It took me about 15 minutes to install and configure it, and it works very well. The audio in this car is excellent, and the BT Changer delivers a noise-free signal to the receiver. Best bang for the buck in modernizing these great classic Saabs.

These BT Changer videos are incredible, thank you so much. Now, I have an AUX jack in the center console but I do not have the AUX option on the ICM screen. Does this mean I will need to use a Tech2 to turn the AUX on to see this BT Changer?

Hi there I checked your site for this bt changer. I have a 2008 Saab 9-3 with a stereo that I have upgraded with a Nav (Grundig) touch screen radio of which it is stated that only US models are compatible. My radio is from a UK Saab (Delphi Grundig)

Hi, you can change the music track from your phone with the steering wheel button. Will it work for any music app? Spotify, youtube music, apple music, winamp, VLC media player,…. Otherwise great work! 👍
In principle, almost everything is possible. :) BUT there is no usable display for the Saab that the MagicBox can talk to, and we also have our own BT Changer development. Unfortunately, we cant do nothing with the LED flashing, but the LED headlight is just a matter of setting.

Wow, this is great! But I have a lot of questions haha! How is the volume and sound quality compared to the original AUX input? Does this system work with eSID? Is it possible to hide the orange BT icon? And lastly, what happens when a warning pops up, does it overwrite the BT icon until you press Clear?
Hello! good questions. :) Sound: I think we achieved the best possible sound quality by using a noise reduction system developed for the NG 9-3. eSID: Yes, it works with eSID. There are users who use it with eSID. Logo: Currently not replaceable. It may be available with a software update in the future, but it's not a priority right now. Warning messages: Of course, all error messages are displayed. The error overwrites the BT Changer logo and messages. Since this is a very important thing, the BT Changer works like this in all Saab models.
@@BTChanger I always think the original AUX input is very quiet, it would make for a jumpscare every time you start the car if you didn't put the volume down first. But listening to it on this video, it sounds to be about as loud as the radio which is perfect! The logo is a bit 'in your face' to me, but given the other features this BT upgrade brings, I can live with it! Hopefully hiding it will be added in the future :) I'll definitely be putting this on my list of things to buy, sounds like the best BT upgrade possible by far! Great work!
The BT Changer must be connected in the connector of the CD Changer (5042585). The Harman Kardon speaker on the other side belongs to the Prestige (AS3) system.
@@BTChanger Is this your product? It's really impressive, and do you notice any changes in sound quality? i have harman kardon and i can tell the difference when playing CD's and when playing using an FM Sender, the CD sounds better!
My friend and I are developing it together. It is much better than the Fm transmitter, everyone can confirm this. You don't notice the difference between CD and BT Changer. Of course, it also depends on the source, but with Spotify, for example, it's perfect.

Hey! First think what saab made is jet and BMW made the engine. I am not sure is that true but i reed it somewhere. So the one dislike is from mercedes driver and mercedes sucks so fuc*ing hard :D
