I have a 2012 ford escape limited 3.0, had for a few years and it's more recently had some issues but more spark plug fuel injector issues, regular things that need to be replaced anyways. But I do like driving it, feels nice. not too big, not too small.

Do you know what paint color they used. I got one similar, but want to repaint it with a little attitude. This blue has what I’m looking for

Nice truck! I have a 1992 GMC, SLE C1500, 350 v/8, short bed and love it! I bought it from a neighbor that has had it for 13 years and kept it in the garage! Interior and paint still look brand new! It is in show quality condition! It has 134,000 miles on it and runs like new! Stock radio and the A/C did not work. My neighbor fixed the a/c and I put a nice Kenwood disc playing stereo in it and I love it! Oh, and it is that beautiful metallic blue, my favorite color! Keeping it until I push up daisies, 😜

My 2010 Escape lost a motor at 170,000 miles. I had the 2.5 I4. The rest of the car looked like new but the cost of motor replacement was prohibitive. Looking back I should have replaced the motor. By the way, I religiously kept up the maintenance and probably broke a ring on number three cylinder

I have owned 3 MGM's, 03' limited edition, 04' Signature Series and a 96' BAYSHORE EDITION. I will never buy any other car. Bulletproof 4.6 will run forever and run strong as long as you take care of it.

For the radio you don't have to rewire all the speakers. I just bought an adapter that went from the back amp to the front and it worked great. 🎶

I have a 98 GS with 144,000 miles. I got it with 130,000. I have put Mustang wheels on it, dual straight pipes, and 5% window tint, and it is one of the best cars, and probably my favorite of all the cars and trucks I've owned over my 52 years of living.

Have had my '92 single cab, short bed for about 4 yrs. 5speed, original dark grey, bucket seats. Had put it up for sale about 2 weeks ago. 2 potantial buyers, 1 low offer, that was my sign to keep it, drive it, and restore as best I can to its original condition. It does really drive smooth. Love my truck.

The reason the second gen is so beloved is because of the interior driving style. Tons of room, lots of glass to see through. The 3rd gen is cramped trash. 2nd gen is just an all round comfortaBLE CAR. I think women started designing Ford interiors past 2010 because all Ford interiors are made for tiny people that love to be claustrophobic. Explorer, Fusion, Flex, Escape are all now cramped POS's. Uncomfortable interiors with huge dashboards, huge center consoles and center screens that are stupidly angled up and forward. Stupid stupid stupid.

My mom in her mid 80s has a 2011 limited 2.5L and she loves it. Purchased for $9k, 9 years ago and spent $2k in repairs. She put 70,000 miles on it in 9 years and it cost $1220 per year to own. Great rig.

I have my grandpas 90 c1500 long bed 350/700r4. It has over 400k on it and ride like a Cadillac now that I redid the front end. Has a dam good ac now. Strong engine and tranny. It’s 2nd engine plus I have redone the heads and timing chain. Transmission I had to rebuilt. I wouldn’t trade this truck for anything. All she needs now is a paint job to look right.

They're good cars for casual driving but they feel like they wanna flip sometimes. The new model is so different that the old one's more comparable with the current Ranger. And yeah, they rot easy.

I got a 93 C1500 does not sound like anything is rattling on mine.. still got the 5.7 350.. 4/6 lowering kit on 15 inch wagon style rallies on 205 65 in the front 235 65 in the rear.. currently painted it a regal red only thing I would switch would be the throttle body to carb currently trying to fix the firing order my router is 180° off from my number one spark plug don't know how the hell that happened but I'll figure it out at least that 350 is one of the easiest Motors to work on besides 4 bolt vw 67 1600 cc engine..

I drive 106K mileage 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid Limited. 2009-2012 generations of this SUV outperformed its perennial winners, RAV4 & CR-V at its time. But the most important is that this full hybrid SUV showed 300,000 miles reliability as most heavy used as NY & San Francisco taxi and NYPD vehicle. The most reliably-built Ford

In 2010 I was in a 2009 escape hybrid taxi and I saw over 300,000 kms on the odometer which is close to 200,000 miles. I said to the cab driver is that 300,000 kms on a vehicle this new? He said yes, it runs 24/7 365 days a year. He said I get out and the next driver gets in and at the time he said they had no battery issues with it. I wonder what mileage it actually made it to. Perhaps someone is still using it post taxi life!

According Ford, who discontinued prematurely its most successful SUV in 2012, 150 mi warranty on the hybrid battery, but it could start discharging faster and not holding its charge as well even before this mark. But overall the data shows it’s one of the most Ford reliable vehicles built. And it overcome during 2009-2012 its competitors like Toyota 4RAV & Honda CR-V.

I bought my Escape new in 2008 with the V6. I still own it and it drives like new. Gets 25 mpg on the highway. Why did Ford stop making this? Escapes from 2013 on aren’t worth having. Had a couple of them as rentals. Would never buy one. Ford’s 4 cylinder engines in SUVs are all under powered. I don’t get why they’re not putting V6s in them. They’re putting 1.5 L, 3 cylinder engines in Broncos. Whoever made that decision should be fired.

I’m in my 2017 Mustang GT Fully Optioned, FBO Motor, Manual with a McLeod Twin Disk Clutch, AirLift suspension just to name a few. I want to make the jump to the C7 but especially in the interior department I feel like it’s just behind. Spending way more money to not feel like I’m getting that same value in an upgrade. After having this Mustang since 2019, it’s 2024 now, I think it’s time to let the manual go. Too much traffic in my city to justify the couple times I get to enjoy the manual to the fullest. A auto 2017-19 Z06 is still being considered but I guess I’d have to test drive one.
