Says the guy on RU-vid.... Figure it out my guy. If he helps people with this speech whats it to you. He served my country to provide the opportunity to live in my home. Nobody is perfect. If it helps people and you are butthurt who is the pompous asshole?
You know you have achieved greatness if you’re a Fleet Admiral like Admiral, McRaven. Sir, Thank you so,so much for your service. I hold awareness that you were recently honourably discharged from Duty, at a rank that so few sailors earn. If I was with you, I’d 1000% salute, you. I’m a Naval Avaitor who is a Captain, with to MoHs, to my name. However, I will never get to your level. Those stars, on your boards, were hard-earned. Before I was commissioned, with the class of 2031, from the United States Naval Activity, I was at the top of my class. With the rank of 1; Valedictorian, status. Even though, I came from a service academy, I will always respect you, even if you did come from UT’s NROTC. I have the understanding, that you wear the double gold reeves, with pride, happiness and honor. Better than that, you’re an officer, with the gold strap. You also have one hell of a large service record, with, 80+ decorations. Before I made ENS, when I was still a kid, I had great, GREAT, respect for people like you. I had respect for service members, even when I was a lone wolf. I’d thank every, service members, for the service, and I’d say, especially to war vets ‘ Without you, the Stars and Stripes, would crumble.’ Or ‘ You make this country INCREDIBLE.’ Same goes for you, sir. I will always salute you. Now that you’re a veteran, enjoy retirement. People with four stars, who earn that rare rank, (Bear in mind, for all of you: Not everyone earns Admiral, or General, within their careers. If you don’t make it, before retirement, that does NOT make you less of a person, you still are incredible. Just know, there are only 100 active duty Admirals and Generals, serving in the Armed Forces. You NEED to be appointed by the President. You need to be appointed in the first place to become an O1, in the first place, by the President. Not all earn the stars. I’m somehow due in 8 years, to earn a star. The reason why that is, every job requires to serve a certain amount, even if base is 5-8. This could include anywhere from a decade, to 30 or 40, years. Every rank has their measurement. Once it’s hit, you’re done. There are certain exceptions: Your dependent, is a Sophomore, and if the circumstances really allow it, they will keep you in, until he or she, crosses that stage and earns, the diploma. This is rare.) deserve it, You have gone through hell, on earth, and made it out alive, with a rank so few achieve. Congratulations sir, on an incredible service. -Captain Harry ‘OrderPhoenix’ Weasley, Doris Miller (CVN 81), United States Navy. P.S. Keep on, conquering, having a successful marriage, giving speeches about the Navy, and your time in service. Enjoy your retirement. Most of all, Keep being the incredible king, Admiral, Husband, and man that you always are. I will always, salute you.
Why is this woman on TV? She constantly stumbled over her words, her thoughts. Incredibly unprofessional, not very smart, laughs at inappropriate times, clueless. She should join the other airheads on MSNBC. She's horrible. I just don't get it. Who did she go down on?
An example of the pinnacle of a military career and how great this country and its men and women are. This should be mandatory in every high school And college. I love this man and watch this often.
Let me up date you. To change the world make your bed. Try AI shit has changed. No beds for soldiers dirt lay in it and suffer. No sheets baby get a grip
Mr. McRaven: One of my university professors told us to read your book, "Make your bed", which I absolutely LOVED. Then, he also reccomended we hear your speech, if we wanted. I did. I must say, both the book and your amazing oratory have given me a new way to see and go through life. I'm forever grateful for that. Thank you, Mr. McRaven!!
This guy is the baddest bad ass in the world . Makes James Bond 007 look like a little girl. Not only a Navy Seal, but the highest rank in the Navy. Veteran to veteran, much respect! Thank you for your service and Welcome Home!!!!! 🫡 🇺🇲
I just now listened to President Biden’s commencement address to the ‘24 class of Morehouse College. It was shocking the things he was saying, I couldn’t believe they were coming from the mouth of a US President. Absolutely nothing about it was inspiring or uplifting. It was divisive and very sad. I don’t know quite know how to put it into words; but I was instantly reminded of Admiral McCraven’s address at UT nearly a decade ago now. How uplifting it was, the lessons the takeaways for everyone! All the reasons it became viral. The address Biden gave was nothing short of shameful.
